Cane is vastly underestimated by supporters around the world and even at home. He is an absolute beast. Everyone seems to be surprised by his performance. If you look at his stats, he's always the top tackler. His hard work allows Savea to do his thing.

Exactly! My dad has always hated Sam and favored ardie more. Sam's on the same level as Kieran Reed because when they used to play in the same team they were always similar in terms of their defense and tackle game. Ngl i knew Sam was a great player but I didn't expect him to become the captain.

The pedigree you speak of has been hugely damaged after this all blacks team have consistently racked up poor defeats to Argentina at home, Ireland, France and a record defeat to South Africa. Not to mention England pummelled them in the last World Cup, let’s be honest, the all blacks trajectory is going down. And that’s not me being disrespectful that’s just the reality of the situation.

The only stat you should remember is that we've got the greatest success record of ANY team, of ANY sport in the last 100yrs. WR #1 pales in comparison. You can have #1 back if you like, you'll never get close to the important stats.

Doris is a brilliant ball carrier and reminds me of Sean OB in the role he plays for Ireland in making hard metres. It seemed clear to me that he was the player to target; focus on smashing him hard early in the game, then keep targeting him so he can't get up to speed and he's then less of an outlet. You need to do it legally but rugby is a brutal game and you need to put some doubt in that players mind; make them anticipate the hit, second guess it. That explains Doris being less effective and dropping that ball. You go for your opponents key enforcer early and intimidate them.
