3:29 Pertaining to what you mentioned about not doing the cycle because your legs were sore. There are a lot of studies that say cycling with sore legs is actually really good for active recovery. Something to possibly look into. Keep killing it, brotha. 💪
@JohnCollins-th8hmАй бұрын
Always jump on the bike after doing legs…active recovery, before they’re sore, helps flush lactic acid etc….
@Stanzi18Ай бұрын
@JohnCollins-th8hm Right? But I also get Sam's concern. There is a real concern to be had about doing way too much and then absolutely diminishing your glycogen levels in your muscles, especially when you're on a deficit and you aren't taking in many carbs.

I like doing cardio (1 mile running on the treadmill) before lifting in the early morning. It wakes me up and gets me in the zone. I recover with stretching before the lift, and i don't notice a drop in strength. In fact, I feel like it triggers my hormones to have a better response, and my athleticism and mental endurance has improved

Within the last year I got a new job in construction and have been working roughly 6 days a week. I have fallen from the gym but needing to get back into it. How do you gain 100lbs within the last year bro, Genuinely asking. I work construction and the constant activity keeps my weight low, I'm trying to bulk but such a sloowww gain
@jaxsonbollingerАй бұрын
@ It’s super easy for me to gain weight. I walk about 15,000-20,000 steps on average every day but within the last year I dropped weight lifting and cardio but not the meals. If you need help gaining weight it’s super easy if you snack throughout the day like when you walk out to your truck grab some jerky while you get your water
@arthurmorgan9341Ай бұрын
I do the same steps roughly, and a lot of lifting at work. And the gym. You've got a point with the snacks there. I try not to snack and just have stacked meals but might have to try this jerky trick every time I go for some water. Cheers brother, good luck getting after it 💪💯

To avoid going to the gym twice a day, I just do like 15 to 20k steps a day along with some morning run (between 5km and 15km depending on how I feel). Some might say it's too much calories burnt but at least I don't have to track calories like crazy, I know what I gotta eat to get my 150g of proteins and all I gotta do is not eat junk food. I can even carb load like crazy with no side effects on my cut

I noticed two things while you were doing Flys. One is that you weren’t really retracting and locking your shoulders when doing the standing flys down towards the floor. I also noticed you don’t seem to bring the elbows as far back as a lot of people recommend for the deeper stretch. I’m curious as to why your form is a little different than what I usually see. I’ve been doing more flies recently and I’m still working on perfecting my form. Oddly enough they feel a little bit better to me if I don’t lock my shoulders into place and let me scapula move more freely.

Less exercises. I mean. At least in one workout. 1-2 exercises is enough. More important than the number of sets is going all out on one set at least when warm. Write that down. 5-10 reps. Okay let's say you did 8x 60. Now work on getting 9x 60 or 8x 62.5. But also. You won't. If you want his chest you gotta juice 🧃 and you shouldn't
