Really appreciate the videos you put out. Good stuff. I noticed at approx 10:50 in this video you made a purchase while the "Buyout Sniper" was still scanning. With one click on the item, it paused the scan and you were able to purchase the item. Unfortunately mine does not do that. I have to click on cancel scan in order to purchase an item. Could you provide some advise please? Thank you in advance.

That's strange, it should pause for you when you click on it. I just checked it and it still works in 4.4.6. Perhaps try disabling other addons just in case they are conflicting somehow?

I've been trying for ages and I really dont get this... I've tried text strings from your videos, other tutorials and other sites, there is ALWAYS a word that won't be accepted when putting it into sniper operations, in this case it won't accept 'ifgt' It's probably something i'm doing wrong but I can't make it work >< Any ideas?

i want to set up my sniper where it will show when an item has the exact price or lower. instead of% of DB. Example: i want to buy a cloth for 10g or lower.

Question: im trying to add a blue boe to my tsm transmog selling group but once i go post it there's a problem, more variations of the same item exist, there's the same item for lvl 67, 65, 62 etc and tsm only recognizes the specific item that i added to my group from my bag therefore doesn't undercut others correctly. Any idea what i can do to prevent this pls? Really appreciate the tsm 4 videos btw, they were clear, helpful and i learned alot thanks!

There is an option when adding items to a group to ignore random enchants. If you have that checked before adding the item, it will include all variations.

When trying to do sniping how do you make it so it only searches for the items in a group. when I do it, it only seems to scan from the default group.

You would need to take the default sniping group off the base group, so it has nothing assigned

Awesome video! Is there something extra I need downloaded for the sniper to display regional/server historical prices of the items that show up in the sniper? When I hover over the item, no background pricing information shows up, makes it hard to judge whether or not something could potentially be a good buy.

You guys need to download the desktop app pf tsm and then choose your servers on there and then it will display your server's market values

Sorry, too thick here, how did you run the AvgBuy-only operation in the Sniper Scan? I can't see a button anywhere to see which sniper operation to choose

No need to apologise, we are all learning here. When you run the sniper scan, tsm will scan every group which has a sniper operation assigned, including the base #default group. If you wanted to search just your avg buy group, you would have to take the sniper operation off the others such as the base group. You could use a separate profile, but that's over complicating things at this stage.

Not stupid at all. It changes depending on what TSM is comparing against. If it's avgBuy then it will be a percentage of that. With Sniper, it will be usually either DBMarket or DBRegionMarketAvg.

It is. You would have to make a group with all the BoE's in that range and then assign a 3g sniper operation to it.

You can use the grouper website method - kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWO3m4GlrspqgMk It's not very easy, but works for those situations. For me, I find it simpler to get the item in my bags before I start working it into a group.

Thanks, yes you can. Make a group with all the battle pets in and assign it a sniper operation and then take out the operation for the base group.

Yes, you can edit the string to use dbmarket rather than dbregionmarketavg. The percentage usually means dbmarket, but I'd have to double-check that

Is the #default sniper string still on your base group? You would need to remove that to then just snipe your specific groups.

Yes, you can apply sniper to specific groups. If you delete the #default operation, you won't need to delete groups. Another alternative is to make a second sniping profile and switch between the two.

It works, kind of. Sniping has changed since the AH update with bids being less of a thing and the first/last page no longer a feature TSM can use to catch snipes. TSM has to scan the whole Auction House which takes significantly longer.

The creaters of the TSM said they arent going to release another version for vanilla. Auctioneering and AUX existed in vanilla but its bad for sniping. Does anyone know of more addons for sniping in vanilla?

I can understand your perspective. Personally, if I get contacted after and it was a mistake, I always offer the item back. That said, sniping is not something I do and won't really miss it in 8.3
