On the Aston under the passenger side foot well carpet there should be a fuse box that is not just a fuse box but is a body control module. That is where the trunk is powered from and is likely the culprit. We are rebuilding an Aston on my channel BeezeBuildz Sam my guys know a ton about these cars and we are happy to help.

Hi Sam Open your drivers door and look down under the dash for your fuse box. Near the center is a terminal to pull out toward you. Pull it out and connect a Positive side jumper or battery charger cable to it. Next hook a ground to you door striker for a ground. Hit the button and the lid should release. I had this happen to me when I left my lights on in the parking lot - Cheers!!!

To open trunk, use a scanner, activate the boot from the CES module. You may need to do a battery hard reboot, by remove leads short leads together for 1 minute then put battery back, re-teach window settings and seat settings, that may reset the trunk setting.

This is exactly what I had to do when water got into the ECU on my Range Rover. It's absolutely worth a try. Of course, if the battery is a) dead, or; b) in the trunk/boot, then he's screwed.

Please help Sam see this! You have to go through the rear passenger wheel well; there is a wire grommet that, if you remove, you can access the trunk release, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GO THROUGH THE BACK SEAT A SOLID WALL WITH NO ACESS WHAT SO EVER. Remove wheel, remove wheel liner, pop grommet out and access the trunk release. I had this issue with my car

After watching this video I feel like the roadblock that Sam has is shooting/editing the content not necessarily fixing the vehicles like we think. If only Sam had a cameraman&editor like Alex does on his legit street cars channel. That way project would move along, it looks like most of the vehicles just sit out there and rot, collect leaves, dust, and Florida sun damage.

For the aston, the choices are, look for drain plugs in trunk botton, the use a hooked wire to plug inside trunk release. Or go to interior car electronics modules clean connectors etc see if trunk rel starts working. pull interior and seats. look for wires going into trunk if you can find release motor wires put power to them and release trunk. What if power was applied directly to door lock, maybe trunk would also activate

Hey sam for that Aston Martin dbs To get into the trunk Remove the rear bumper and u should see a small gap where the latch sits and try to move it to force it open And also those have a trunk module cant remember where its located but hopefully that helps **rear trunk lid power latch control module** most likely from the flood its fried but they are plug and play

From the Aston DBS Manual section 01.14 : "In the event of a total loss of vehicle power the boot can be opened by pulling the manual boot release handle. Remove the LH rear seat base and undo the two knurled bolts that secure the cover. Remove the the cover and pull the boot release"

On the Aston to get in the trunk you need to find the two wires in the harness coming from the truck for the actuator and apply 12V to get it to pop. If the actuator is broken then I dunno start taking body panels off.

Well, I don't know about the Aston Martin DBS, but I had a 2015 Mustang convertible with an electric trunk-popper and no keyhole anywhere near the truck lid. The keyhole was hidden between the C pillar and the seat-back of the back seat. Have you tried looking around in the back seat for a keyhole? Mine was well hidden -- you had to really pull hard on the seat-back bolster to get to it.
