Sailing from Gozo Malta to Syracuse Italy. Light winds try to derail my trip but my new sails make the trip more enjoyable.

Hey Sam, I've been with you since that first solo to Hawaii.... Smart, energetic thrillseeker guy, small patched up bluewater boats, layedback attitude....perfect formula. Add some female companions here and there, fearlessly jump in deep ocean water miles from land....great. tour guide view of exotic ports of call....bonus. Rough seas footage, lightning and equipment failure....realistic. Now, maybe mount a waterproof Gopro during storms to capture breaking waves, etc during storms....lot of work, but would be awesome! Best tagalong sailing stuff on KZbin. Cheers, Michael

When doing a jibe on wingfoil and changing feet do not jump. Just move your feet until your front foot has the most pressure. Then push the nose down and as it just starts coming back up - move your back foot next to the front one, move the ex-front foot back. 2 steps. The lifting momentum will give you couple seconds to make it a two-step thing instead of a jump, more control, more success :)

Sam, it would be hilarious to set the electric motor on your dinghy, but row, from afar or air it would look hilariously fast!! Do you think the mini dinghy could be pulled by your foil sail? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

That would be cool. I was thinking about using the wing on the dinghy the other day but I figure you could really only go downwind without a fin or keel.

When you were becalmed on the glassy seas and talking about not using the motor there SOUNDED like a motor/machine running in the background. What was that? The fridge? Something else? Curious. BTW -- I always dig it when you make music. More of that please.

OK. I think I figured it out -- the fans. It was hot. They just seemed loud since the wind was non-existent. I’m starting the process of getting out there. I have learned a lot from you and the YT sailing community. I feel like I’ve learned a ton. Wing boarding (?) looks like great exercise. Like full body/core and arms. It looks tiring, is it? Is there a better “health fun activity” living aboard? Exercise is boring, so I’ve been keen to identify something I can do like that. Cool! I ride bikes now to stay healthy/fit-ish… Thanks
