Sadly.....I never got to see Van Halen live (in any of their incarnations), but I can confidently say from the clips that I have seen on KZbin that Sammy and company sound WAY better live than anything Dave has done since .....probably the 90s. Keep on rockin' Red Rocker !

This is a great lineup for Sammy's band. While Alex may be gone, he couldn't do better than to have Satriani join, Michael lends authenticity, and they all look like they're having fun.

1984 best David version 5150 best Sammy version. All those musicians up there rock! Michael has been solid the whole time. Joe is a true guitar god and best to shred the EVH chords..and yes Jason to pound the hell out of the drums! For Alex and so importantly love the base covers of the almighty John!! Salute to you all!
