God damnit! I FUCKING LOVE THIS SONG! Even more so ever since the first date with my wife. Long story short, we were at the back of a GA concert. I mentioned how I wished we were closer up, and she said “hold my hand, these do more than just make me look good (referring to her boobs)”. Next thing I knew we were up front and center stage. She cut through the crowd just like a fucking wedge! That’s when I knew I was a lucky man!!

Great performance! I still find the change that was made to the opening riff (both here and way back in an early recorded version) to be an odd choice. I first heard this song in the animated movie Heavy Metal where the opening is slightly different than subsequent versions…to me, the movie soundtrack version was different in a good way. Sammy, my Mom was a fan of Van Halen when you were in the band. I took her to see you at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater. She loved the music! It was a great summer night, the air wasn’t moving and a cloud of weed smoke hung in the air. My sister asked my Mom if she got high. She answered, “yes, I just had to breathe”. 😂
