Lee is one of the most consistent guys in general I've ever watched in terms of personality. He's literally been the same guy ever since he could crack a joke. Also in my top 3 favorite body builders ever. His personality is number one though, I could listen to that guy talk all day and always be interested

@@arslaanpasha3334 nah, decent ish genetics with consistency on steroids gets you in shape pretty fast and easy. I have trained natty all my life and my mate takes steroids, eats what he wants and he drinks a lot of vodka, he also a stoner but he still has a way better physique than me and most people in the gym. If your naturally a skinny body type it’s a lot easier to be in shape when on steroids.

Is the Steve Strong that Lee is referring to the guy who was a pro wrestler? That guy's name is Steve Disalvo. He used to wrestle in Montreal in 1980s and trained at the Gold's I worked at. I know he used to wrestle tag team with Ric Drasin in South California so that places him there at the right time. He dated this tall blonde who worked at our gym and she said Steve had artistic talent. Haven't heard the name Steve Strong in 35yrs.

Yea I have to build up to the heavy weight also and part of it is letting my joints tendons adjust to the pressure as they will become compressed. I remember being unable to use my arms after benching 405lb for 2 reps the first time even with progressively increasing weight per set from the joint compression.

HIT isn't doing 1 set with 135 then moving straight to 405. It's just lessening the volume. For example, 135 6 reps, 225, 4 reps, 315 2 reps, 375 1 rep, 405 max reps 6-8 range.
