Filip, PLEASE start doing your drop test videos on less consistent concrete (a sidewalk, driveway, or blacktop). I feel like since the garage-like floor is sooo smooth, it almost helps the drops in a sense. Making it easier for the phone to absorb the shock. Most of the time if someone were to drop a phone, it probably wouldn’t be on a garage floor or even super flat type of concrete.

Niels Rebers You do realise that in an ideal case we need a material that’s perfectly transparent, has glass like hardness and at the same time flexible and durable as well? If you don’t know they aren’t that easy to come by. It will takes years of (it not decades) research to actually create such an ideal material. Till then different types of plastic layer is the only way out.
