I just bought a S24 Ultra 1TB for only $1000 yesterday from Samsung. I’ll be buying my iPhone 16 Pro Max by Christmas. Coming from an iPhone 13 PM and a S22 Ultra, these are both great phones. The Galaxy S25 Ultra will have to have major major major upgrades for me to wet my pants over or jump on (or even blow Apple away) besides a new chip (again), updated camera (again), updated design (square or rounded corners big deal), upgraded display (to each their own if you can tell the difference) and so on. Both iPhone Pro Max’s and Galaxy Ultra’s are great phones. iPhone is easier to use “IMO”. It’s a solid smartphone. And so is the Galaxy Ultra. Galaxy has its own great benefits. It is in its own Galaxy! 😊 There is no clear winner comparing a phone that’s being released this week to a phone that’s not even released yet. But if you say so, cool, more power to you and to all. I’ll be set for a few years before I upgrade either again. Unless either Apple or Samsung come out with a ground breaking, and I mean a major major major update in design or something that is game changing, must have and can’t live without besides another upgrade to the camera. Just give me the great performance, battery life, excellent visuals when viewing and easy to use functions. Good luck to you all.

Much hype around benchmarks but i am cautious. Year over year we get claims of 10/20/30% improvements but in a real use case, these performance increases are not noticeable, in fact in order to see these peak benchmarks you would be using the device intensively, meaning high heat and shorter battery life. What rumour im interested in however is efficiency - if this new SD chip allows for longer battery life then im pretty excited. I really think we've peaked in terms of performance for consumer use case YEARS ago, and any person who wants true business productivity on the go would benefit much more on a laptop with peripherals.

As true note and ultra fans we have never complained about comfort. The sheer power, class and iconic design was superior to any comfort one would cry for. Hard disagree, looking at the 10X (crop) photos on my S24 Ultra and they're STILL (after promising so many updates would improve) much worse quality than the 10MP 10X from my S23 Ultra.. Now if it were a 50MP 10X setup I'm so down for that! I'd even give up the 5X..

@@thisisjoshyNo. Samsung either needs to improve the hardware or ditch it entirely. The software can only do so much.

@@smartphonefan5226 Then people will complain about a price increase, but 🤷♂️ They literally built their branding on the zoom capabilities. 10MP 10X IS improved hardware, judging by the results of 10X photos like I said.. We'll see what they do, but I doubt they'll do much more than upgrading the ultrawide to 50MP since that's all Apple did..

@thisisjoshy If you want better hardware, a price increase could happen. However, if we don't want that, then it is best to get rid of the 3x telephoto lens. What good does it do if the hardware is lackluster?

To hell with both of these phones. Huawei Mate XT is the current King.

I mean Apple doesn't have to be good in AI or anything because a simple camera button on the side already got some Apple fans so excited and surprised 🤣

Hey Sal, i won't be upgrading to the s25 ultra as I've just upgraded from the s23 but I'm waiting for s26
@TechTalkTVКүн бұрын
Hey! Totally get that. If you've just upgraded to the S23, you're already rocking a solid device! The S25 Ultra is going to be impressive, but holding out for the S26 makes sense if you're looking for something truly next-gen. Who knows, by then, Samsung might just surprise us with something game-changing!

Slim phones and camera bumps don't bother me. As technology advances and become smaller doesn't mean the phone has to be smaller. It should be that they can fit more hardware inside of it including increased battery size. And Samsung go ahead and make the s25 Ultra 7 inches please or at least for the s26. I think they would have already done it but they don't want it too big because of the Z fold which I believe both phones take away from each other.. They're confused to which is there flagship.

No one cares about slimness and weight. Modern phones are slim enough. Give us bigger sensor camera, bigger battery and bigger vapour chamber.

Previous Samsung fan. Samsung dissapointed their fans with their pink/green screen line on previous models. I will never buy Samsung bcs of that. Reliability is always the most important aspect.

I don't know why both Samsung and Google keep redesigning their phones to make them look more like iPhones. Almost everyone prefers a better battery over a slimmer phone. But of course, both Samsung and their fans are constantly Apple-centric, which this channel is another example of.
