I think Android OS and Chrome OS should just merge. Samsung DEX should be Chrome OS. I don't know how Google can get developers on board so that we have Apps that can scale across tablet/desktop modes, Full screen/Portrait/Landscape and Window Modes.

I think the Tab S9 Ultra sounds better, it just seems to have a more cohesive sound. Ridiculously loud, and nice low end reach. The Lenovo did seem warmer but didn't reach as low. I would hazard a guess that some quick tweaks in the Tab S9 Ultra's sound settings could balance it to sound less mid-focused, sacrificing some of the plentiful volume.

This is a nice tablet no doubt. Diaplay is ecellent. Camera and mics are good. Speakers sounded okay but agreed with you that the Lenovo sounded slightly better. The lack of an included charger I think should have been included as a con you listed at the end of this review especially for the price one is paying for this. Anyway have a nice trip to Germany. Great review.

I'm happy with the One Plus Pad, the price is so competitive, the functionality is good, sure there are drawbacks, but for the work that a tablet should do, it is just fine. So I have a few takes on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. First of all, it is a very Premium tablet. The keyboard, sold separately, is also very expensive. Regarding the charger which is not included, yes we need to thank Apple for starting this trend to our detriment. The reality of the matter is that like it or not, this is the trend nowadays with these companies. I’m not saying it’s right as I also don’t agree with it but it is a fact. Aside from the negatives just mentioned, it’s a tablet with a gorgeous display, cameras both front and rear are very sharp and so is the quality of the mic arrays. The Lenovo tablet has a fuller speaker sound as apposed to the Samsung’s but Samsung’s speaker quality is not bad. Thank you for the amazing review Andrew as these reviews keep getting better and better!! 👏😁

Beautiful tablet, just be careful not to crack screen due to how thin it is. Two weeks in and have had to send mine it to have screen replaced due to cracking. Not covered under warranty cost $535 Australian. The cost for the 5g 1tb ultra here in Australia is nearly $3,000, slim keyboard is $350 track pad one is over$450

At least with the iPad keyboard case you can also charge with the USB port on it, and it has the cool floating magnet stand. I'm still going to buy the Samsung one for my ultra, but I think Apple's price is a bit more justifiable.

One thing that is amazing about this device, and I feel is overlooked, but the standby battery consumption is amazing. Say if the tablet goes unused and just sitting on your desk the whole day, it'll only loose 2-4%

It's my understanding the Lenovo Tab Extreme is being upgraded and then released again. So should be an even better tablet once available. Can't lose with either device. No trade in deals on the Lenovo unfortunately. A direct comparison video would be great!

How do the two keyboards you cited differ in regards to functionality? fyi i too am pissed about there being no GAN power brick. considering the size of the battery compared to phones there needs be a fast charging usb power supply included, especially at this price as a normal phone charger is far too slow.

Had mines for 2 days I am not blown away but I think it is because not to give us full 4K on such a large display is crap. I like it but not blown awaylike I thought I would be and I think that is the reason.

If the Lenovo Extreme tab ever was in stock I was more leaning towards it bc it’s an improvement over S8 Ultra and Lenovo has guaranteed support on it until 2025 but checking on and off after your video of it it’s just not available at all. That’s why I’m going to end up getting the S9 Ultra great video on your likes and dislikes on this monster tablet

The best model this year has to be the 11 inch model. Given it FINALLY has an OLED screen since it was cheaped out to an IPS screen in 2020 with the Tab S7, I'd say it's a worthy upgrade for Tab S7 or S8 owners. And the microSD card expansion being retained as well as IP68 dust & water resistance are also really nice! Personally, I would call these tablets better than the iPad Pros if you're not in the Apple ecosystem or trying to leave it.

Nice Review👍 For me sounds the Samsung a little better and cleaner. In total its rly a good tablet and the display is the best you can get, Samsung is leader of quality displays. The keyboard is over priced like the Apple keyboard.

This device is VERY compelling, but I'm not sure if I can justify the cost of it. I would primarily want this for watching movies. I wish you had touched upon that in a review. I imagine the movie watching experience is incredible, at least the video part of it.

If only there was a magic keyboard product for the samsung tab S9 ultra. I really dislike the kickstand and would much prefer the hinge mechanism on the lenovo and magic keyboard.

The Lenovo Tab Extreme costs 1200€ in Europe, and it's not bundled with the keyboard which also costs 350€ to buy separately. I don't understand why it's nearly 500€ more expensive in Europe than in the US when the Samsung S9 Ultra costs the same everywhere.

Great review 👍 The S9 Ultra is definitely a powerhouse BUT i'd have expected a much higher level of its display brightness! Even on my Galaxy Tab S7+ the maximum brightness seems to be higher! Are there any tools to test the display on tablets? Thx from Munich 😉

I don't have it yet so take it with a grain of salt, but i've read that it only pushes maximum brightness when brightness is set to auto and in extremely bright environments like studio lighting or outdoors on a sunny day. Don't know any tools that'll let you bypass that, if that's the case.

Thank you for calling out the bs of no charger it's ridiculous. Imagune we spend hundreds of dollars but are not given a charger in the box at least give us the option of saying yes or no to one.

Samsung tablets are great. While the keyboard cases are nice, they are extremely overpriced. Considering you can get an Arteck bluetooth keyboard for $20, and it has backlighting. A case for $20. And a bluetooth mouse for $10.

keyboard looks crap when compared to the magic keyboard of the ipad pro... Also, becuase it has that cheap kickstand.. At least with the ipad, you get an innovative stand that holds the ipad steady in every angle.. (nearly)... Shame, I'd not pay that money for such a keyboard, give it 2 months, you'll get a logitech or other knock-off for less than half...
