Just got my flip 5, my first folding smartphone Im 26 but my first phone was indeed a silver flip phone with an antenna 🤣 Love the pocketability, yet it's still smart! Lol

I love my new Flip 5! I use my phone mainly for music listening, public transportation, and other small things. I'm not on any social media and I rarely use smartphone cameras. And the folded version is perfect for these everyday tasks. You can use it one-handed and you're very quick with it because everything is doable with just your thumb. Once in a while I need a larger screen - then I just have to unfold it. For me, it's perfect. Oh - and the folded device just looks ultimately cool.

I recently got this phone. Sadly my LG is no longer available. So my husband got a new Apple phone and traded his old Apple in so I could get this one. This is my first Samsung phone and watching all these reviews and trying to encourage myself to venture into the phone. I'm finding myself really enjoying this phone!! It's like I'm finding something new all the time!! Thank you!

I have heard many people enjoying the ability to use the front screen for productivity/quick actions, while having the small barrier of opening the phone to keep them from opening up other apps like games, social media, etc., and aimlessly scrolling or otherwise wasting time 👍🏼

The Flip 5 is better than my old iPhone in every way. You just have to learn how to customize it.

While I'm an Apple loyalist from way back, it really does seem Samsung has, with the Flip 5, proven that a folding phone is no longer just a novelty option, but a new form factor with a future. I'm intrigued to see if Apple at some point decides to offer their own folding iPhone. Thanks for another excellent video, and congratulations on the SS sponsorship.

I have the flip 4 and 5, and it is absolutely a novelty. There is nothing gained by having it flip, only loads of dumb problems with bad workarounds. The only reason to get one is if you think it’s cool, other than that it’s not a good phone.

I’ve been an iPhone user ever since the first iPhone 3Gs and currently planning to change to the Z Flip 5 from my iPhone 11 but I’m still hesitant because I never own an Android before 😭 but the Flip looks soooo cool! Would love to hear your advice on this one

I switched from an iPhone 13 to a flip 5. I’ve had mine for a couple of weeks and I’m digging it so far. The switch was as not as intimidating as I thought as it would be but it will take a couple of days to get used to using a Samsung phone in comparison to an iPhone. The battery on the flip 5 will easily last the whole day and it’s just as quick and snappy to use as an iPhone but I can’t comment on the camera as I’m not a camera guy and not very active on social media. In short I recommend switching to the flip 5.

Love my flip! Twinning with my wife 😅 it's nostalgic for sure. I use the cover screen a lot because it's just so convenient. The fact that i can use good lock to access the applications that i use is great. Came from an iphone 13 and the 120 hz is awesome. I don't use the cameras all that much so that part is ok for me. I think that if you really want a flip phone, this is the best bet. But if you take a lot of pictures, I'd say probably go for the s24 or the pixel 8.

@@ljacobs357 the updates for some of the products change. Like longevity. I hear Samsung does great and then Google is maybe. That’s my biggest gripe when I say inconsistency.

I want this sooo bad. I’ve been contemplating since the 4 came out. Getting very bored, after sticking with iPhone for about a decade. But idk if I’m willing to upgrade early, and trade in my phone. I’m kinda nervous about completely giving this up to switch over. Also starting a whole new device payment. Seems worth it though. Might just wait till I pay this off. There’s only $200 left for me to pay. Should I just wait till it’s paid off then upgrade/switch? Thanks🫶

I upgraded early. I had the 3 so I ended up paying $277 to finish my contract but I think it was worth it.
