They may share responsibility for both in the future but right now, Samsung makes the 11 inch exclusively and LG the 13 inch. I should have included LG in the comment, I did know they both make them, it was more a joke that Apple spends half the show talking about the display that they simply bought and did literally nothing with besides put it into the device and it's their biggest selling point....

All Apple does is design the package, most of their products are built by other contractors and Apple slaps them together and then grossly overcharges for them. They bought the panels and stuck them on the iPad. That's all. In case you are unaware, Samsung makes the vast majority of Apple's displays. Some others like LG and Sharp also do but the majority is and has been Samsung for years. Samsung is also the main RAM maker for Apple as well as regular storage here and there. This technology is literally years old at this point and has been out on other displays already. Apple is not the first to buy a Samsung or LG panel to use this. They sure will try and take the credit and push it as their biggest selling point though, which is hilarious since they did not do anything to produce it besides put in an order to LG and Samsung. Also it is losing, not loosing. Loosing is when you are unscrewing a bolt or something like that. Losing is the word you're looking for. Loosing is barely even a word and it's also basically never used. Have you ever heard someone say they are loosing anything? People say loosening or loosen. It is virtually never used except when it is misspelt for "losing". If English is not your first language no worries, it's a common mistake even among native English speakers for some reason when writing, but now you'll know the difference for the future.

I don't really want macos for Ipad. They just need to revamp the files app, multi-tasking/allowing to keep apps active and external monitor support. The problem with macos is that it isn't created for a touch interface nor are the apps. I also use a surface pro for windows and applications aren't tailored for it. It works ok for me when I need to run windows and I like it has a stylus, etc. It doesn't really make for a great tablet experience though. I think it would be great if Apple could open up a little. Allowing JIT and other things would be extremely helpful and could help bring more apps that were previously exclusive to laptops/desktops.

I mean if they have Macs inside a display , Ipad is like a Macbook display ,without keyboard. ( opposite of headless macbooks ). I hate this limitation , but yeah apple will always do like that. I am someone who loves a lot of performance so that's no reason to buy this ipad. I do draw so there are cheaper options. My only problem being locked into apple pencil which I didn't bought.

Biggest complaint about the iPads were how thick they were. Not the software being anemic. Not the lack of ports. Not the price for what you get. Everyone thought it was too thick. Can’t even put it in a backpack, it’s like a coffee table! Thank god Apple listened and fixed that. I’m sure the new one won’t be super easy to bend and crack that overpriced OLED screen

Before the disappointment, i tell you a big secret, there are already at least 4 tablets with under 6mm thickness from the past TWO years.. did you heard any bending issue in the past two years..? It's just a marketing for the sheeps, because it's even 10% thinner like the also 5,9mm previous iPad Pro, and just some answer for the Galaxy S9 Tab lineup what are also all under the 6mm thickness..

As a British viewer, I can't help noticing Apples strange choice to name their in-house CPUs after motorways. The M1 was revolutionary, but the M4 needed a lot of re-work (Including the second of Severn bridges) after it came out, and *still* doesn't go that fast. 🐌💨🛣😋 Mind you; With that in mind, I suppose skipping the M3 makes a lot of sense. Ask anyone who commutes into Southampton why you _wouldn't_ want M3 „speeds“ in a tablet... 😉

There was a report that Apple wanted to close their iPad line & the eBay they’ve designed the pro specifically is a good way to kill off their demand for it. We don’t want thin breakable/bendable tablets, we want long battery life without insane overheating & thickness is perfectly fine. The last best iPad in my opinion was the 2017 pro.
