Today, Dr. Jay gets to dig into his favorite manuscript, the Sana’a Mushaf. This was found in a Yemeni mosque in the late 20th century. The locals brought in German linguists to help translate the text as it appeared to be very early 8th century, but upon overhearing the Germans’ excitedly discussing the dramatic differences between the new found script and the Hafs addition, local authorities confiscated the material from them. The Bible is composed of 2 divisions. One is the Old Testament. Two, the New Testament. The Old Testament is the Hebrew Bible or book of Judaism which the Bible scholars copied and plagiarized word for word, and translated it into Greek. And afterward, shamelessly bragged themselves that they are inspired by the Holy Spirit. Inspired to what? To copy? To plagiarize? And to distort some of the Hebrew words to suit to their evil motive of portraying that all the prophecies in the Hebrew Bible are referring to Prophet jESUs (pbuh)? This is a blatant deception by the Bible scholars to the readers, especially the christians. Instead of acknowledging the book of Judaism, they labeled it as the OT. The supposed book of the christians is only the New Testament. But since the NT is not a book coming from God, the Bible scholars have to support it with the Hebrew Bible which is labeled as the OT. Why the NT is not from God? The NT is comprised of 3 parts: 1). The 4 gospels written by the 4 Greek scholars. But in the 4 gospels, there is not a single gospel that can be found in it. When we say gospel, it means good news/revelation/s from God sent down to Prophet Jesus (pbuh) to be preached to the children of Israel. But what is that gospel which Prophet jESUs (pbuh) preached? Where is it now? None. Nothing. In other words, it is not recorded and preserved. Had it been recorded and preserved, we would have only one gospel in our hands today. And certainly, it is in Aramaic. What then are these 4 gospels? They are purely biography of Prophet jESUs (pbuh) - from his conception, to his birth, to his baptism at Jordan river for the atonement of his sins, to his healing and preaching activities, up to his crucifixion. 2). Mere ideas and opinions of Paul expressed in his letters to the different churches of: 1. Romans, 2. Hebrews, 3. Corinthians, 4. Galatians, 5. Colossians, 6. Philippians, 7. Ephesians, 8. Thessalonians. Paul also expressed his mere ideas and opinions in his letters to the different individuals like: 1. Timothy, 2. Titus, 3. Philemon, 4. James, 5. John, 6. Judas, 7. Peter. He also wrote his ridiculous fictional diary called the book of Acts. 3). The dream of John which he dreamed after writing his so-called gospel of John at around 150 years after the alleged death of Prophet jESUs (pbuh). One night he dreamed a dream. And when he woke up, instead of letting it pop into thin air, he put it into writing and labeled it as the book of Revelations. But the labeling is deceptive and very inappropriate. It must be a book of Fantasy. His dream is nothing but fantasy. Reading it is like watching a Walt Disney movie. So, we can safely say that the christians have no book of religion at all. Hence, Christianity is an empty religion. Empty religion means zero salvation. -12-31-23

@@Yuyup7334 here’s the Hadith So I started looking for the Qur’an and collecting it from (what was written on) palmed stalks, thin white stones and also from the men who knew it by heart, till I found the last Verse of Surat At-Tauba (Repentance) with Abi Khuzaima Al-Ansari, and I did not find it with anybody other than him. I love bringing this bad boy out cuz they have no response to this it shows not a single soul cared about Quran enough to fully memorize it after Muhammad passing Remember this happened 1 year after Muhammad went to the sleep of no return from the poison of the brave Jew lady. Shows they cannot prove their Quran is same as the original cuz no one had a physical Quran then and no one memorized it

If your religion is true and credible you would have no issue with textual criticism and would welcome the scrutiny to validate your beliefs. This is not so much the sentiment in Islam. I’m just learning about these early Islamic manuscripts and it completely and utterly destroys SIN (standard Islamic narrative). What a great era for theology on KZbin. The Lord is good!

They started emerging a couple hundred years after the synoptic gospels and the next couple generations of church leaders wrote extensively about avoiding them. Funny thing is some of the Gnostic stories end up in Islamic scripture so they had a heavy influence on Islam even though I wouldn’t consider it a Gnostic religion necessarily. Read the gospel of Thomas and you’ll see how insanely wild it is from a typical canonical gospel.

@@Topher3088 As far as I know the gnostic gospels were written at least 2nd century AD. One of the critics wrote about the Secret Book of John in 180 AD, so it had to be written earlier than that, which means they wasn't much of a difference from the other gospels. Regarding gnostic stories in Islamic scripture, could you provide some examples? I wasn't aware of this.

@@raimundomuthemba766 specifically to be honest I got to look more into that. I know the story of Jesus breathing life into the clay bird is originally a Gnostic story. Some elements of theology are arguably Gnostic in origin such as extreme divine determinism in regards to heaven and hell such as double predestination commonly found in Calvinistic christian denominations. Also a strong emphasis of a God who is unknowable and entirely removed and separate from interaction of creation I don’t recall the theological term. I’ll do some more digging I discussed this topic recently with pastor Joe Schimmel from Good Fight Ministries he has a good YT channel and goes deep on Islamic eschatology and how it is similar to Christian end times prophecy. There’s a scholar Lloyd de John who has a fascinating channel on the links between Gnosticism and early Islam.

Each time this dead Arab prophet saw the Jews, he would normally emulate them, but then after they rejected him making him depressingly insecure and insanely upset at them, he would say things like: oh, since the Jews keep their mustaches and beards, we won’t do that: we’ll just keep our beards but not the mustaches !!! We must understand that the contentions (or disagreements) over the “Perfect Preservation of the Quran” is a thing of great importance to Muslims. How else can a Muslim assumes his divine human superiority over his fellow human beings if the Quran has been tempered with by man? Allah tells Muslims that they alone, when compared to the rest of mankind, are the superior human beings ever created. Quran 3:110 reads, “You (Muslims) are the best of people ever raised up for mankind.” In Hadith Riyas as-Salihin 1839, Mohammed, the prophet of Islam, explains Quran 3:110: “The best people for mankind are those who bring them (mankind) with chains around their necks till they embrace Islam…” * Thus, the Muslim must fiercely contend for his human supremacy by insisting the Quran, from God, is a decree that cannot be changed for all eternity. Surely, you do not expect the Muslim to give in to the claim “All men are created equal” - a claim he attributes to a “supposedly” corrupt book?

I live in Sana'a Yemen and when I read these stories. I visited the Grand Mosque where they discovered these manuscripts and I met the person in charge during the discovery and the department manger who is still there and they said there is another manuscript from the time of Imam Al, the cousin of the Prophet and also his son in law. It is from the time of the prophet and it is the same as it is now. The one discovered at the site and which the Germans took in order to analyse it, was n fact a modified one by one who did it for himself n order to understand the original. Yo know that there are many dialects of the language used by the Arabs. In Yemen, there are 7 dialects. When Islam reached many places, especially the non-Arab speaking people like the Persians and others became confused due to several dialects and therefore, Cailphah Uthman after consulting all the companions of the Prophet, selected the original and distributed it to all.

I think we are barking up the wrong tree. I am an ex Muslim and I don’t have any love for the Quran but what I think is this. These early Qurans must have been written by people who could not write Arabic well and therefore must’ve made mistakes in their spelling when the the oral Quran was dictated to them by a hafiz. This in turn was recopied with the original mistakes until they got the osmanic official Quran with the arfs or dictor signs. Just an opinion.

again, we have to repeat this every time, the QURAN IS ORAL TRADITION, transported through generations orally, writing means nothing, the Quran is memorized by generation through millions of people who memorize it completely and transport it to those after them, this was always the case since prophet Muhammad till now, the way of reading and pronouncing the verses ( tajweed) cannot be written, only through oral learning can it be transported, and every person that was taught the Quran to memorize and resit in the proper manor have a written paper from his teacher that indicates that this person is now a 7afiz which means a person who memorizes the Quran and allowed to teach it, and the teacher has a signed paper from his teacher and so on till we reach prophet Muhammad himself, as for the manuscripts, they are really interesting as you are treating them in a historical manner which allows history to be faked, let's treat it in an Islamic way, you found an ancient document, before treating it as absolute truth you must answer the following questions, who wrote it? was it a he or a she or a them? why was it written? , was the one who wrote it a trusted person or not? an established scholar or just a student trying to memorize and write what he memorizes the scrapping it and then witing etc...., whatever, even if you found an old manuscript of the Quran that exactly matches what we have today and is legally traced to prophet Muhammad himself, you still can't use it without learning the oral tradition and receiving it from a scholare

He is master of the Quran and Ubai b Kab said that Surah 33 used to be as long as Surah 2. Surah 2 of the Quran has 286 verses long. Now Surah 33 used to contain somewhere around 286 verses but now it contains only 73 verses. We can say that according to Ubai b Kab, called The Master, more than 200 verses were lost from a single chapter of the Quran. Then there is also the testimony of Aisha, Mohammad's wife. She says “So I started looking for the Qur’an and collecting it from (what was written on) palmed stalks, thin white stones and also from the men who knew it by heart, till I found the last Verse of Surat At-Tauba (Repentance) with Abi Khuzaima Al-Ansari, and I did not find it with anybody other than him.” This shows not a single soul at that time cared about Quran enough to fully memorize it at the time of Muhammad's death. Also Aisha's testimony occurred one year after Muhammad died from being poisoned. This fact demonstrates that it cannot be proven that today's Quran is the same as the "supposed original" because no one had a physical Quran at the time of Mohammad's death and no one had memorized it!
