Firstly, I don't know you personally not do I know the person who called you a flog and so I write this from a purely non biased position. I believe that, as individuals, we are a mirror for others. What someone sees in me could relate to something that they don't like about themselves and a lot of people don't like looking at themselves and the traits they don't like within themselves. Perhaps that's what happened in this instance. It's not about you. It's about what's going on for that man. Also, as a man who believes in ownership of my traits, both good and not so good, I would invite you to look inside yourself with honesty and ask yourself if there may be some truth in that man's statement. If there isn't, great. If there is then it's your choice to decide whether those traits are ones that you want to continue. Finally, I feel sad and angry for you that you had to be put in a position that left you the tough choice of cutting your time there short and I hope that you still had a great time with your son after you left the convoy. Keep up the good content mate. 😊

All valid points. I’m not saying I’m innocent in the matter at all. I know my personality is a little polarizing at times and I’m not for everyone. I get that. What disappointed me was that instead of just moving on and just leaving each other alone, he seeked me out and made a point of trying to make me feel bad. We don’t need to be friends that’s fine. But surely we can just co exist without abusing each other. I think ppl confuse my online personality vs my really life personality. One is slightly more extreme than the other haha. Thanks for your comment and it’s definitely something to reflect on long term.
@4wd4mentalhealth5810 ай бұрын
@@Australian4x4Adventures Honour to you for recognising that part of yourself that isn't always the best version of you. I totally agree with you about co existing in the same space without incident. Sounds like he made a conscious choice too impart his opinion of you, to you, in front of your son. I've often been guilty of making decisions that negatively impact those around me. The thing that I never thought about in the past is that my decisions not only have consequences for others but also myself. It can be easy to not care about the impact my words and actions have on others sometimes but not so easy to realise that there will be consequences for me to deal with as well.
