helpful little mandrels cant never have enough, i keep mine loaded with different grits on each one and some scotchbrite on one of them..... Stay safe!!

Those flap sanders work great. I cut the strips, put a hole in the center and use contact cement and use a small amount to glue up "the stack" and when I need a new one simply take off the old worn one and pop a new "stack " on. I made them up in 80 grit and 120 grit. 😁 THEY'RE WORTH IT! Keep the dust and chips flying ✈

When you said there's a dinosaur I thought the lack of sleep was making you trip out 😅😅😂 back when I was young and stoupy I'd stay up for days to hallucinate and shit . I spent so much of my 20's not sleeping I just have to close my eyes to go to sleep .

I've recently used this technique to sand down 3D printed plastic models, as normal barrel sanding generates too much heat.

If u turn ur dremel down lower?

Maybe u could try like a 60 grit and slow it down then sand smooth by hand?

Hand sanding works great, but slow. I found that using the barrel sanding bits on a dremel, no matter how slow, it always generated heat and started to melt the plastic onto the barrel. Using your flap sanding method i dont have this problem 👍🏻

@@garethbowden2424 ohh ok sorry I read it wrong, so this sanding method does work, I have also lightly carved plastic/epoxy with the aluminum cutting bitts

Thx ! I took this stuff from you! But I alternate by overlapping them, so 1 upright and the other upside down, the first of which is upside down and the last upside down 🙃 Are the mandrels better than those made by Dremel?
