I LOVE coconut oil!! It’s great for digestion too. I use it in my dog's food. It's great for wounds because of the lauric acid which is anti-viral, anti-microbial and anti-fungal. It boosts energy & fat burning, helps ketosis, helps cholesterol, great for the immune system, supports brain health. And now I learn vaginal dryness!! I have been using castor oil like crazy for sleep, eyelash, eyebrow and hair growth, stomach issues (as a compress). Thank you for sharing with us!

I love using castor oil too! God gives us so many things in nature that are so good for our bodies. These great oils, real salt, honey, foods that feed the microbiome. ...and what a great idea to put coconut oil in dogfood!

How do you use Castro oil for sleep?
@EstherlovesYah7 ай бұрын
@@tinamills5253 I put it on my eyelids and temples. I use it on my entire face but the eyelids and temples are key for sleep. I also put it in my belly button which also helps with sleep. Do it about an hour before you go to bed.

I've used it for years. A couple of years ago I stopped consuming it because my cholesterol went up. I do use it for all the other 3 uses you spoke of. For the oil pulling I keep cleaned used jars from olives etc... to spit in, when full I toss in the trash. I also have salt water in a container for rinsing afterwards. Great video as usual, thank you for being so open and sharing to help us all ❤

Once I get my oil for oil pulling, I head straight to the bathroom for morning stuff and the time passes in no time. That's why I have my jar and salt water in the bathroom. BTW... my OB/GYN was on board for coconut oil for vaginal health/lubricant.

I use coconut oil over my entire body, and it's amazing. Hair, skin, and nails. It's very healing. My results have been incredible. I use the coconut cooking oil also, and my fiance, and I love it. It's been better than anti-aging lotions I've ever used. I've not seen any negative affects. In fact my facial skin looks younger.

I learned even more uses now. I didn't know it could cool the hear and stop itching. I also didn't know it could heal sores, but it makes sense. So many dermatologists tell patients to put vaseline over places that need to heal, and I always think...no! Use something like coconut oil instead.

Hi Sandy, it's Joe. If you are going to help someone you have to go all the way. A half truth is useless or could be harmful. Also, coconut oil has c8 and c10 medium chain triglycerides that helps your liver make ketones. Helps in fat loss. Outstanding! ............................ 😎👍👍
@sandysteinbrook9 ай бұрын
You're right, Joe. Half truths are never going to help....and so many people are afraid of adding oils to our lives because of the "fat", which doesn't make us fat. Here if people read your comment and see it helps with fat loss, they'll be excited to add coconut oil to our daily lives.

In my opinion...doctors are not always right. Lol. They are not taught about natural alternatives. Mostly when you can use something natural that has no side effects, there is zero impact on your health if it doesn't work for you. But, I think if you do it consistently, you are going to see and feel results in your dental health, Danielle.
@Psam307 күн бұрын
Coconut oil is great, but pairing it with fiber could take its benefits to the next level! Fiber helps regulate digestion and slows down the absorption of fats, potentially making the energy boost from coconut oil more sustained and beneficial. Try combining coconut oil with high-fiber foods like oatmeal, chia seeds, or even a veggie smoothie. This combo can promote better gut health, keep you full longer, and provide a steady release of energy. It's like a dynamic duo for your wellness journey!

How much should you take each day for cognitive thinking/dementia?
@sandysteinbrook9 ай бұрын
So, when I read the book, they used several TBSP a day. These were people that are experiencing dementia. There were many testimonies from people on how it started to bring back memory for their loved ones. I read one story where the wife started putting it in her husbands oatmeal each morning, and how she couldn't believe how she started to see her husband come back to part of who he used to be. I'm just going to tell you what I personally do. I really do not know what kind of protocol that needs done but I think some is better than none. I consume 1 teaspoon somehow in my day. Either putting it in hot tea, adding it to food or frying something in it. I like melting it in a frying pan and making a sourdough flat bread with my sourdough starter, frying a couple eggs or popping popcorn.

@kellylbr9 ай бұрын
Does it raise cholesterol because it’s a saturated fat?
@sandysteinbrook9 ай бұрын
I've seen differing opinions on that. In America doctors say not to consume it, but in other cultures they have consumed it for centuries and are in good health. Same with olive oil. I think you would just have to make your own decision based on facts from different cultures along with what your doctor says.

@sandysteinbrook9 ай бұрын
Im not sure how it does it but, It just does. I use all kinds of oils on my body and face, and it penetrates and absorbs into my skin. Oils take longer than lotions to absorb, but they absorb best on damp skin. I use different oils all the time...coconut oil, jojoba oils, rosehip seed oil, and castor oil on my skin daily.

So, not as exciting as the sexual lubricant application, but ... if you're giving or getting a massage, coconut oil is an excellent skin lubricant. Microwave it until it's just liquid (warm, not hot) and keep that skin lubricated while kneading at it. My wife has sensitive skin, and a "dry" massage will make it red and irritated. With the coconut oil -- much better.

Coconut oil raises your bad cholesterol. Mayo Clinic info. Do avocado oil for cooking.
@jomc204 ай бұрын
Sorry, but I'll go to actual experts for nutritional advice eg the Mayo Clinic, make universities, clinical studies and heart research charities. Here's what the Mayo Clinic says: 'Coconut oil has been shown to raise cholesterol levels - the good and the bad kinds - more than other plant-based oils like olive or canola. And in truth, medium-chain triglycerides make up only a small amount of the fatty acids in coconut oil. Plus, while other heart-healthy fats like olive oil, canola oil, or omega-3 fatty acids in nuts and seafood have been supported by a large body of evidence, coconut oil's supposed benefits still haven't been proved in large-scale human research.' Coronary heart disease (CHD) is the UK's single biggest killer. It can affect anyone, but South Asian people are approximately 50% more likely to die prematurely from CHD than the general population.
