I have seen one thing in society that if you have break up with your bf/gf or divorce society still accepts But if you have issues with parents and you decide to be seperated for your well being you are a criminal than How many agree with me?

I am literally crying while listening 🎧 to this 👂. The amount of mental trauma parents inflict on their wards these days is just torturing. At times you just want to cease to exist. On the outside everybody thinks you are having a great life but deep down you know how screwed you are. Life becomes such that even your successes become insufferable for you.

I decided to muster all my courage to speak about the issue [ vivaad nahi karna hai, samvaad karna hai], guess what - they played the victim card so well that they must get the Oscars!!! I said to myself - "okayz, I gave you 1 chance, I showed where you were wrong, and you still want to push your luck, huh...." Alright then, no issues, I wont come after your property or wealth and niether I will come to talk to you, keep it to yourself and keep on blowing your horn. Who know, some sense might kick in🤣

Thank you sir for understanding the children's perspective, most parents drown us with a guilt trip. It's like having a karj of being born to them which we have to repay by sacrificing our whole life by living on their terms.

Parents at their will happily work hard for the family but not supposed to express their contributions again & again. While during upbringing the family when children's are young, they repeatedly do mistakes that is ok but repeatedly parents shd not tell their hard work - again & again. What logic is this?

My sister is in this guilt trip n ruining her life which she's not aware of right now. She thinks she will make everyone happy. Don't know if she herself not happy n gives negative vibes how will she make everyone happy. At end she will b exhausted n then will realize that that was not the purpose of her life God had given her to live fully. I'm also exhausted by her blaming me for my irresponsible parents.

All my thoughts are perfectly quoted into words. You are a perfect orator Sir. I agree to each & every point of yours. Getting understanding & friendly parents is the biggest gift to children these days else we keep on trying to find happiness in other elderly people who make us feel peaceful. If parents do not fulfill these 7 criteria, then there is no point of wasting time behind them. Afterall, nobody has time to listen to bitter & boring things these days. There should be mental, physical, emotional, career support from parents else they its difficult to love parents. They have brought us into this world because they wanted to! We did not tell them to bring us into this world. So, its their responsibility to keep us happy & support us emotionally, mentally & for career till they are alive. Then only we will feel happy & pleased after talking to them.

That's old mentality. They think having a boy solves problems. Most of times,it never happens, daughters even if given lesser opportunities still make most of it. Plus oldies don't understand financial toll it takes raising children. So no. It's totally you and your husband's choice. Cut them off if they torture you more . Your daughters deserve better life and good parents

This video is sooo soooo soooo sooooo epic. I truly love your content. I'm 25, female, unmarried, belongs to typical jaat family. Mind mein bahut negative image ban rakhi hai jaato ke liye, ki bahut orthodox n rigid hote hai. I'm tgt mathematics in Delhi government school. But mere parents ab bhi aise treat kar rahe hai jaise mai 15 saal ki bachi hun. Abhi mere khud ke hatho mein freedom aayi nahi hai ache se aur yeh chahte hai ki mai kisi dusre typical jaat se shadi kar lun, yaani meri life ka control parents ke hath se shift ho kar ab kisi aur ke hath mein chala jaye. I want to do so many things in my life. I want to spend it meaningfully. Aur agar parents ke hisab se chali toh toh bahut hi jyada piche reh jaungi jamane ke hisab se bhi n suffering hogi woh alag. Sometimes I feel, ki mai ghar chd kar hi chali jaati hun, to live independently, but fir fikar aati hai parents ki ki woh kitna pressure lenge socially. Aisa lagta hai ab bhi parents se jyada mai hi soch rhi hun unke baare mein. Aur woh itna itna drama karte hai, jaise dosto ke sath bahar chali gayi on my own birthday aur aane mein 4 ki jagha 5 baja diye, toh drama start. itne gande gande taunts. Ek bar bhi yeh toh nhi puchte ki din kaisa tha, kya khaya, kya kiya, tumhe kaisa feel hua. Pichle ek saal mein tum mein kya growth aayi, next year ke kya plans hai.... Yaani value add karna toh durr ki baat yahan toh energy drain kar lete hai bilkul. Aur aisa aj se nahi hai... Aisa hmesha se chalta aa rha hai... But aapke wali baat hai, mere hath mein nhi tha control. Toh i accepted everything as it was. Aur saari energy bs padhai mein channelise krti gayi ki jis din financially independent ho jaungi uske badh I will have full control on my life. Preparation ke time par toh mere mind mein itna torture feel hota tha mere ko ki mai kisi ke Ghar ja kr jhadu pocha hi laga lun, ya Ghar chd kr kisi dhabe pr bartan hi na wash kr lun, bs yahan se nikal jaun kaise bhi... Aur har chize mein 2 hi baaton ko aage adda denge... 1. Parents ki intention galat nhi hoti, har maa baap apne bacho ka bhala hi chahte hai 2. Tere ko koi kami hai toh bta.... Kabhi mana Kara ho, khane ke liye, ya paise ke liye.... Khane aur paise se upar bhi kuch hota haiii Maine toh literally yeh list bhi bana rakhi hai ki unhone mere pr kitna paisa spend Kiya hua hai, with interest mere se le lo woh Paisa aur mere ko jaane do bs ... Aur shadi ke naam se toh mere ko bilkul nafrat ho chuki hai. Aise ajeeb ajeeb riste le kr aaege, aur hadh yeh ki sab jaat riste hi ache lag jaate hai inhe... Kisi mein toh koi kami nikalo na.... Aur aise riste, jin ladko ko mai bf bhi na banau unse shadi karwana chahte hai... I just hate them. Specially my father. I try my best to be grateful n kind n loving. But fir kuch incident repeat hota hai, mai tym leti hun 2 din, 4 din, uss baat ko let go karti hun, fir se grateful n loving attitude mein aati hun ... Fir 15 din badh fir kuch aur ho jata hai.... Aur yeh haal toh jab hai jab mai kuch bolti ki nahi... Matlab stimulus kam se kam deti hun.... Toh maine abhi socha hai ki, ache se notes presentation bana kar parents ko bataun ki unhone Kiya kiya past mein n how do I feel about it. Present mein kya options hai humare pass n inks future consequences kya kya ho sakte hai. Let's see. Warna toh mere ko lagta hai yeh jis marji se shadi karwa de, usko maine divorce Dena hai aur akele rehna hai...

Most of the time I have been thinking guilt and it is impacting my personality. They lived in village with govt job but I live in urban City with pvt job freuqney doesn't match and again live marriage..for me Every year Diwali and Ganesh festival is like torture. Always calls kab a Rahe ho. Wife a Rahi hai ya nahi. It's been 4 years I lost interest in festivals. It's become like my wife celebrates festivals with their parents but sala Mai rehegaya hu bich me Ghar ja nahi sakta kyonki muje khud ko waha maja nahi aata ek to parents aise hai or yaha rehene se Aisa lagta sab ke sath apne parents hai mai hi aisa hi fir se wahi guilt.

I'm in late 40s, and I stopped coloring my hair 3 yrs back, as I realized there's severe hair falling and itchy scalp and all the things you've mentioned. I used light brown as hair color. But I limited it to major functions like marriages in family but now after using henna and taking care of my hair, it's looking normal and beautiful. Since 2 yrs now I and daughter is telling husband to do the same about his hair.

Very practical suggestions to increase the awareness and be large hearted towards your kids and express it according to the needs of the kids. It is better to newsstand then to be understood.

Sir please make video on the topic when parents keep blaming kids for settling abroad by using harsh words like abandon even when they are in 60s, have pension, own house. House help. We came to abroad to make career and good future for ourselves and kids. No child can even think of abandoning parents but parents bring in emotions that are so toxic, negative.
