Spending time outside, either walking/hiking, gardening, or even just sitting somewhere nice. For most of last year I was spending at least 2-3 hours outside every day. During the winter I only was doing it once a week or so, but this for me is so important, not just for the exercise, but for the sensory joy of noticing all the little beautiful things in nature. It really helps me be in the moment and feel happy.

My most beneficial habit is reminding myself to put things where they belong. So often I misplace things, don't feel like putting them back, and my house becomes cluttered. I feel that clutter in my brain and it makes it hard to do other healthy habits. Also washing the dishes as soon as I use them!! At least washing the pots and pans while they're hot and easy to clean means I only have 2 plates and cups to wash after dinner.

my morning always makes my day. i need to go for a little walk to really wake up, drink some lemon water afterwards and then read some pages in an inspiring and motivating book (like a biography) that gives me a destination for the day🤍

I've been working on my morning and even more on my night routines for the last year. I also think baby steps are the most important because you don't want to set too much things at the beginning. When you consistently doing 1st thing, you add more. For me the most important is the morning - to get up and do 30 - 60 minute of exercises and have a shower and a green smoothie. I don't feel good if I don't do it. I feel like even if the day is falling apart, at least I already did something great for myself in the morning. I used to workout in the afternoon but sometimes I felt so tired from work and sometimes some friends were like: do you have time after work or groceries shopping etc. I feel more relaxed if I'm not wondering the whole day if I will manage to make time and have the energy to workout... so it's so much better for me to do it in the morning but some days or course I whish I could just sleep in but I find the grit and discipline and remember the feeling I get from moving my body. But also take it kind and easy on myself if I do sometimes skip one day and everything is not 'perfect'. The second thing is protein smoothie. Like workout it just sets the day, I have enough energy for the day, etc. And of course cup of coffee. I read a page of book while having it. It's like you and water bottle. I know I'm going to have my coffee so I just added some quick readying (like daily stoic). I also have affirmation box - I wrote affirmations that aligned with me on post it notes and put them in a boy and I randomly pick 3 that are my 'guide' for the day. And when I'm done with taking care of me, then I turn on wi-fi on my phone, not before. I also turn off most notification because they were irritating me. At first it was hard but then it gets easier and you realize nothing so important is happening that it can't wait first 2h of the day. I find it more challenging to switch off wi fi like an hour before bed. I'm still working on that but I noticed it really helps me unwind more if I turn wi fi and sound off. I like to journal, think of 10 things I am grateful for and think of the day it's before me. I also love to light some candle or incense sticks because it helps me to relax more. The hardest thing for me and I need to work on it is my skin routine...

Healthy habit I started in 2022 is morning pages...... Writing three pages of longhand, stream of consciousness thinking, and as the name suggests is designed to be done first thing in the morning. ” They are about anything and everything that crosses your mind- and they are for your eyes only. Morning Pages provoke, clarify, comfort, cajole, prioritise and synchronise the day at hand. Do not overthink Morning Pages: just put three pages of anything on the page…and then do three more pages tomorrow.”

My healthy habits are taking my meds on time, taking a bath every evening, writing in my diary in the evening. I also don't do any work after 6pm. Whether its chores or anything that causes stress (if its really important like homework or something broke i'll do that) but I let my brain cool down in the evening.

I say my healthy habit is looking up products on the EWG website before I buy anything to know what's safe to buy based off chemicals, ingredients, and production levels to know what I'm putting inside my body. Even when a company says safe and natural ingredients youd be amazed most arent. Even those that dont market that way can be safer than those that do.

HI, for sunburning I've used : 1- Egg white and olive oil ointment. beating the whites as if you were making nougat and add two tablespoons of olive oil. And Rinse after 10-15 minutes with cool water. 2- Aloe vera .. Apply it on the burn three times a day. 3- Raw potato. It consists of cutting a raw potato into thin slices and then placing them on the burned area until they are dry. 4- THE RULE OF THUMB: DRINK A LOT OF WATER.

I was actually thinking about what is the English word for afraffelen (I am Dutch so I know exactly what you mean lol) and I don't know. Have to think about it some more. One thing I started doing is making my coffee every morning and exactly like you said it is not per se about the drink (even though I love my coffee) it is really the things I have to do to make it. Recently I also started writing down in the morning and evening how I feel, how I slept if I had any nightmares and I really enjoy this as well just a little reflection moment, also started reading a chapter in the morning which is really nice as well. Really starting to love my morning and evening routine more and more!
