This ... this is MOVING. Between Santana's skills, Indie.Arie's angelic vocals, and Yo-Yo Ma's talents on the cello ... this is bliss. Spiritual.

I'm an older parent (58) and my youngest was four when this came out. He and I were in the car waiting for his big brother to come out of school and I threw in this CD. The second that Yo Yo Ma pulled his bow arouss his cello my son asked what the sound was. It was his musical ah ha moment. I thought he'd choose the cello when he hit 6th grade but he chose the viola. In 9th grade he dropped the viola and picked up one of my guitars that I had laying around the house should one of my boys give it a try, and he's now a senior and has gotten quite good. I cannot hear this song and not think about that sweet moment that started it all. My other son plays violin and mandolin and I am so thankful that my boys have an unending love of music, all thanks to Santana.

Though a musician myself, still, this song brings tears to my eyes, I don't know why. This one is the best rendition of George Harrison's composition, not only the guitars, the vocals also have done total justice to the emotion of the song. I came from Kubo and the Two Strings. I had no idea that it was a Beatles song that many others have played.

@Wolf Stone I also didn't know it was a Beetles song! I think this song has to do with Kubo's deep connection to his Shamisen (string instrument) and how through it, Kubo expressed his deepest desires, emotions and imagination. George, the Beatles member who wrote the song, expressed his own deepest desires, imagination through his guitar in a spiritual way and so the two sort of shared that expression through their instruments. Giving credit to karipr88 for this interpretation- the song itself is potentially about seeing the capacity humanity has to open up to love to every human on earth, but the ability is unawakened. That around us "the floor needs sweeping" the world is filled with issues that we need to take responsibility to take care of and clean up. Kubo left the shelter of his home and was met with a divide within his family that deeply saddened him, but through his own will to love was able to pull through. I hope that helps! I think the song was a great choice for the film!

... ... ... Alors que ma guitare pleure toujours gentiment
