Yeah, I'm surprised no one even mentioned Suguha in Season One. For those confused on who she is, she's a relative of Kazuto. At first, they both thought they were each other's siblings. But when Kazuto found out that his aunt raised him after his real mother died, he distanced himself from her and his cousin. Some time after he went into Aincrad, Suguha found out and started developing feelings to him. At least, that's how it was in the original anime, not whatever's going on here.

Suguha is Kirito's cousin but they were raised as siblings since Kirito's parents died when he was very young (like all proper anime protagonist's parents do). I love SWE's portrayal of her (although I actually like her [and the whole fairy-dance arc] in SAO proper too).
