Just for your amusement. Here is the transcript of Yui’s assessment of Leafa. "The patient displays classic narcissistic and borderline sociopathic behavior, especially when engaging with her brother, Kazuto Kirigaya (aka Kirito aka xXx_K1r1t0_xXx_KillMe aka Daddy). This appears to stem from deeply held feelings of resentment, as well as internalized self-hatred regarding her own femininity, most likely originating from an as-yet-unknown event in the siblings' early childhood. The lifelong repression of these feelings seems to have bled into her other relationships as well, causing her to lash out at those she perceives to be weaker than herself. This behavior is most evident when interacting with her "friend" Recon, whom she CLEARLY has romantic feelings for, yet takes every opportunity to belittle and keep at an emotional distance, even though we can all tell what's going on and she should just admit she likes him and treat that poor, sweet, boy with the love and compassion he deserves! In short, I believe someone or something has caused her to view any display of more traditionally feminine traits as something to be ashamed of, and seems to lay the blame entirely on her brother. As for why this is the case, further investigation shall be needed.“ So yeah....she’s got issues. Oh and Sugou is voiced by Kaiserneko from TeamFourStar.

Tbh, it's kinda disappointing in a way. Not that I dislike the direction they're taking it, but in the last few episodes Kirito just doesn't get as many moments to display his own issues and he feels tamer now than he used to. If we take his earlier issues into account, I'm not even sure I would call him the most tame, but he definitely is the most tame right now.

@@sterlingmuse5808 It has been showed that despite his issues, Kirito deeply cares about Asuna and Yui. He is currently very focused on saving Asuna. So he isn't just dicking around and lording his stats over the other players like he did in Aincrad because he has a goal right now. And not to mention he has developed such a bond with Asuna (and to an extent Yui) that he doesn't have to pretend to be big and strong and can let his vulnerabilities show. Also he has gone through a whole character arc so he is much more.............. Accomodating than his early Aincrad days. His issues aren't really ignored I think, just handled a bit differently

Both can give some level of feedback, and im guessing what Yui did was just giving the conscious part of her brain the "sensation" of not being able to breathe rather than actually interfering with her real body in any way.

@@strav8672 it still needs to cut off the motor functions of the users don't wander around and hurt themself by falling down the stairs or something while it doesn't(or shouldn't) have the power to fry a brain anymore it still needs access to the nervous system to give the players haptic feedback in game so yeah Yui didn't just trick her brain into sufocating itself it, she actually made it belive that the all the facial features never existed to begin with which means she probably could turn your into some nyarlethyen looking monster and giving you the nervous feedback for what a body like that would feel like...

@Tin Watchman if I remember correctly, in the original show, during the final battle against Sugou, they show that there is a Pain Inhibitor that can be manipulated to either limit the pain to feel like nothing, or as much as the real thing. I think Sugou also said that after it's lowered to a certain point, it will cause real harm to a person. Sugou is the best example since one of his eyes because almost completely bloodshot and he starts having sight issues.

That and you have to remember that they're basically playing back the original anime and overlapping their lip movements, pausing it for specific moments, and so on. For example, SAO abridged had to play a basic snow animation over their "Christmas" episode in order to disguise the fact that the snow isn't moving in the actual animation.

Editing the footage from the anime with moving clouds in the background was a pain in the ass, so the creators just made it so the skybox is glitching like hell in-universe, with the clouds resetting their movements, shadows jumping around, and even a missing texture error filling the skies; it's explained in universe as a "server routing error". So SWE took an editing challenge, and turned it into a joke that works PERFECTLY with the lore they created of AOL being a "weeping anal fissure of a "game"."

2 Things Airier missed. 1. Fairy Port is basically a parody of Microsoft Flight Simulator, where actual people play MSFlight Sim both as Pilot and Airport Control either for fun or practice when they apply to be Pilots or Air Traffic Controllers IRL. That said, they also do things that break the game physics when everything or everyone isn't "cooperative" in "immersion" 2. Sugu plans to brainwash Asuna using the research he's doing in-game. So it doesn't matter if Asuna goes yandere mode on him now as she would be perfectly behaved like a Stephord Wife (as Asuna asked, if it would be like Remote Control or full on mind scrub Stephord Wives Club Style) 3. As a bonus, Yui abusing her inherent Admin Privileges as part of the Cardinal System Code while also psychoanalyzing Suguha like she was programmed to for SAO. NGL, the entire time she was trapped as an object "might" have unhinged her for a bit...So her dealing with Suguha by taking away her face would actually have some effect IRL if she does log-out without being remedied. Also, Airier asking if there were safety protocols to remotely log-out if the player cannot log-out themselves is actually a thing with the Amusphere. As it was designed to be more "safe" than the Nerv Gear (despite it being more compact and streamlined in design).

@@hendeyjagger7489 yes, but what I meant is that SAO being connected directly to brain functions, like Sugu's experiments, if you logout with debilitating effects like a lost limb, no face or just endured injury with 100% pain receptors on, that would be carried over to the physical world as well. A lost limb and/or injury with 100% pain would feel numb or that you can't control it properly, probably even feel like its still cut off even though physically its still there. No face would most likely lead to full or partial face paralysis and blindness. . . For proof, you can just refer to the final episode of SAO S2

@@hendeyjagger7489 At the final confrontation, Kirito was freed from paralysis and then used Excalibur to attack Sugu, with the pain receptors set at around level 10 at the time (the highest setting), Sugu was forced to logout because he fainted in-game and the amusphere recognized it as an emergency logout. When Sugu ambushed Kirito out in the hospital parking lot, he was still feeling the effects of the digital injuries he received on his limbs, making them partially paralyzed in the real world, and Kirito used that to his advantage to overcome the size difference between him and Sugu.

I only saw one real "flaw" in the writing of this episode that I have a criticism of, and it's kind of a fun continuity thing they could've done. During Asuna's fear-inducing speech, the profanity filter stops her during her last phase, they should've allowed that curse to actually go through. Asuna has already been shown to break admin paralysis in SAO, it would be a continuity thing that they could explain her breaking the profanity filter for a second while raging at Olberon by the same thing, and even have him acknowledge "wait a minute, the profanity filter is still on..... huh....."

Supposedly, there is a feature within the Amusphere (the new version of the Nervegear that Suguha has) that automatically logs out the user if their heartbeat reaches a certain point. However, I seriously doubt that this would help because Yui could just as easily remove that feature since she is capable of editing anyone's face off.

Ok okay guys I'm here to put my opinion about the glitchy frames. It makes it easier to animate with a glitch looking intentional on backgrounds that are always in motion because things will be moving haphazardly during the scene of them moving their mouths. Its why most frames are still backgrounds in this show.

By the time the wedding rolls around at the end of the week, she will have been mentally brainwashed into being a compliant little sex doll that would never dream of disobeying him or betraying him, so it's not a threat. As long as she remains tethered to the servers, her mind is under threat of being wiped. She's fighting as hard as she can, but unless she can actually succeed in logging out, her fate is inevitable.

I think the clouds were edited that way to avoid continuity issues with when they use scenes for their dialogue. Rather than the audience noticing clouds being looped in scenes, they play it off that the skybox is glitching out.
