Hey guys! Since I posted this video a couple brands I used in this video reached out to me and some of the links in my description are now affiliate links! (meaning I make a small commission if you purchase through those links) All my opinions of these products are the same!
@mariamjo43064 жыл бұрын
Hey the Krave cleanser has been sold out for a while now. Any other cleanser you recommend equally with that one? Thanks!
@pixie9684 жыл бұрын
Mariam Jo I don’t know much about the krave one but a cleanser I like is the cerave foaming cleanser (good for normal/combination skin), the cerave hydrating cleanser (good for dry skin) and the cerave salycilic acid cleanser, which is good if you have mild acne/pimples. (I know it’s a lot of cerave but I just love the brand!)
@mariamjo43064 жыл бұрын
@@pixie968 thank you for your input! I checked Cerave's ingredients, and I'm a little wary. I like things to be as clean and organic as possible. Have you checked that out?
@pixie9684 жыл бұрын
Mariam Jo well I’ve used ceraves products and seen good result. There is this skincare youtuber (skin care by Hyram) and he’s a specialist and swears by these products. If you don’t feel comfortable using these then you don’t have to but I suggest maybe finding sample sizes and patch testing them. I wish you well!
@hannaelawil87934 жыл бұрын
Mariam Jo The thing is, of course you should always be wary of the products you’re using, but natural isn’t always better. In skincare products, certain synthetic ingredients are are extremely important, as well as preservatives so mold doesn’t grow in them. CeraVe is great! They don’t have many natural extracts in their cleansers, but they have ceramides, hyaluronic acid and many other ingredients that are amazing for your skin! I used the CeraVe hydrating facial cleanser and it’s saved my skin because I’m using a topical retinol! Not to mention their products are completely fragrance free! Hope this helps :)

As a substitute for the Avene cream there’s the Laroche posey Cicabalm B5 ! The texture is a lot lighter and it doesn’t clog the pores as much. It gave me the same results I used them both after a horrible rash and dry patch breakout, and as a daily moisturizer as well. (Normal skin type, but prone to small problems here and there). They both soothe irritated skin really well, as well as hydrating and repairing the skin. I really do like the avene one, but it’s a brand that is known for using fragrance and its just to thick. I do however use it on my knuckles and elbows (I live in France so a huge ass tube is really really cheap). For the face, the LRP B5 is a lot more suitable for skin that is prone to clogging. And they have different sizes (30 mL for 3,40€ to a 100mL for 11 euro), as well as different textures (gel, richer, fluid, and spf 30 version)

@@user-cm4cv2xj8q do you have a source for this ? Like a study ? I'd love to read about it ! Because I always hear that this is bad ingredient so the product must be bad etc... when I'm sure the chemists know what they're doing. Like people saying that mercury is bad, so vaccines that contain it must be bad; when in reality it's not. Yes, mercury is bad on its own but with the other components its not. Just like table salt, is sodium and chlorure, both on their own are bad, but together theyre not.

Try cure gel! It’s $30 on amazon and my holy grail product. (It’s super popular in japan). It’s a gentle chemical exfoliator. You put it on clean dry skin (5-6 pumps), wait for it to react with ur skin (10-20 seconds), then gently rub and your dead skin will come off with the product. I suggest you use 1x a week and ramp up to like max 3x a week or whenever your skin feels like it needs it (I use prescription retinol sometimes which makes my skin turn over faster - great combo with the gel).

I don’t really use too much creams but I like; . Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2%, by the ordinary . Age Defense Eye Cream (only online at Ulta) . 100% Aloe Vera gel . Plus the creams she uses (But like before I do switch them up daily) [Some other tips if interested] Also once a week I use my Indian Aztec Clay mask, and I love it. One more thing when I see bumps forming I use Tea Tree Oil as a spot treatment. Hope that helps, sorry for the late reply 😊

Okay so during the first 3 months of quarantine I ate so many junk food and carbs. And then suddenly, I had so many pimples on my forehead which doesn’t happen normally as I am on my 30s. My face was oilier and I got so insecure about it that I would sometimes cry. So one day, I decided to clean up my diet and find ways go clear up my forehead acne. I went on youtube and watched Sacheu’s skincare routine and she raved about PC 2% bha and how it cleared her congestion and acne. And I knew I had to get it. It got delivered to me in 3 days only and I love that. One month in, using PC 2% bha liquid exfoliant for 3 times a week(every night only), using a vitamin c serum in the morning, eating healthier, and my skin is a lot clearer!!! My forehead acne is almost gone, my skintone is brighter, pores are less noticeable and it just has this clean and glowing look to it. I just love it!

Ok from the beginning of the video ur skin is glowing ,there’s a glow ,do u specifically use something to make it glowy?or maybe it’s the consistency of using ur skincare products?

Consistency for sure. My skin is like that cuz I NEVER like ever go to sleep with makeup or doing my routine. Also, there are products that help archive a skin like hers

I bought everything you are using and it really works. Although , I didn’t have any skin problems but I can see difference. My skin is now much cleaner and much better than it was before. Thank you for sharing.

I love how simple, but effective (obviously) your skin care routine is compared to the 7-10 steps I’ve seen...not judging👀

also, i get dry eyes too, and i have tried every eye cream ever and nothing really helped except for vaseline weirdly enough? super hydrating and it completely stopped the dry underyes for me. it needs to be the one in the pot too not in the tin!

It’s basically a moisturizer with spf but it helps more of long term issues with skincare. It helps decrease the aging and the sun damage it ensures over the years. Most people don’t realize when not used, you could not get the best results when you’re hitting maybe 45 to 50+. It’s more of a start early thing
