Here is the list for my own note and y'all as needed: 1. Too many subscription services (that might overlap and/or unnecessary) 2. Needy plants (take too much time to take care of) 3. Eco-friendly items (transition overtime instead of replacing all the eco-unfriendly items at once) 4. Experimental food items 5. Low-quality items 6. Narrow shoes (go with everything but not healthy for your feet) 7. Reusable bags (think through what you already have or can get for free) 8. 2-in-1 products (that doesn't work for your body) 9. At home nails kit 10. Memberships (that you don't use enough) Cheers!

Please be aware that narrow shoes are not universally bad! Of course if you have wide(r) feet they won‘t fit you but in a way that a wide shoe that is two sizes too small wouldn‘t fit you either. I have incredibly narrow feet and many shoe styles don‘t fit me because they are too wide and my feet kinda slip around in them (I hope this makes sense). So I am eternally grateful for companies that offer their styles in a narrower version or styles that are naturally more narrow like the ones you mentioned. Just thought I’d put this perspective out there because different people have different needs 🙈 Also a disclaimer: I love walking barefoot and I hate pointy heels or stuff like that because just like you I don‘t like my feet/toes to be squished together. But narrow shoes help me feel comfortable and walk properly :)

You were my biggest inspiration when it came to me deciding not to wear any nail polish again. I never went to a nail salon, nor had gel or fake nails, I just painted them at home. I didn't enjoy the smell, the preciseness you needed, that it took a lot of time to dry, I hated when I ruined my fresh manicure, when it started to chip away, and the feeling after using nail polish remover. Also it bothered me that I wanted a color which I didn't had, so I had to buy a new one...gosh what a waste of time and money! And the funniest thing is that it gave me little to no enjoyment on the long run. I love natural nails, I love keeping them short and trimmed, the best feeling ever. So natural nails all the way!
@LovingLifeasEmma4 жыл бұрын
I've never heard anyone take this approach before and I've kind of felt almost guilty (if that's the right word for it?) that I'd rather just have my nails natural. But I totally agree!!

The Nester made a guest appearance on the Rachel Cruz show to talk about this, and it was great if you don’t want to wait!

Hola! Do you have any video about not needy plants? I would appreciate if you share the plants you have at your house. Thank you!!! 🌼

I just found your channel. I’m excited to dive in to your minimalism series. I am decluttering my entire house and need lots of inspiration and motivation! I would like to point out, though, that REAL Tupperware is eco-friendly! No need to buy tons of plastic wraps and bags and since 2010 all products are BPA free. Please let me know if you have questions or if you’re interested in Tupperware. I am a consultant.

Hi Sarah, just a suggestion: instead of clean your plants with paper ou cloths try a makeup brush, it is more gentle and does not take the plants natural protection off 😉😘

Sarah on Instagram: "Hey guys new video up today. Tuesday instead of Thursday!" Me: Immediately fumbles phone and curses it while trying to figure out why it didn't notify me that Sarah uploaded a new video. Me: Gives up after 10 seconds so I can watch new video! Sarah: "I don't know, do you guys want to hear about my shoes?" Me: *Single tear runs down cheek. "Yes! Please tell me all about your shoes!" Love all the minimalism stuff so much! Please keep it coming. Am I the only one who is SO EXCITED to finally see the new kitchen!? "Move that bus!"

You're so chic and adorable! I have a sustainable fashion question: I heard the argument FOR supporting unethical brands because if those brands didn't exist, the people working for them in third world countries would be out of jobs entirely and that would be worse than poor working conditions. I'd still rather purchase from brands that make an effort to help people and put quality and sustainability into their clothes, but do you have an answer to that argument? Consider this my entry to your next Q+A haha Loved this video :)

I think of if this way. Are you saving animals by buying from a puppy mill? No. You are encouraging the practice. By buying unethical fast fashion brands you encourage slave labor, many of these people are paid 11 cents a day!

I just wanted to share, as a Canadian who married an American and now lives in the U.S. - I used to say “go ham” or “going ham” - thinking it meant like.. hog wild... but he informed me that in the U.S. it means “going Hard As A Mother...” 🤭😬 I recalled hearing you say it in another video and kinda just smiled to myself, but when I heard it again in this video about buying eco friendly items I just had to share 😁

Pleeease, make a video about shoes, especially winter boots because I was actually looking at some boots and was wondering which ones to get, that not only look nice but also last for a long long time. Would be great! 😊
