Sarah you're probably not even going to see this post but I just want to thank you! You have motivated me so much and gotten me out of a deep rut!! I started decluttering yesterday and it pains me deeply to stop to go to sleep lol. It might not seem like much to you but I was not raised as a minimalist. Quite the opposite. If i wanted to get rid of something my mother would guilt me into keeping it. So therefore i have irrational and unfunctional sentimental connection with everything i own. That makes decluttering and being minimal so much harder because "what if i need it" or "what if i regret this". Well yesterday i just decided i can't do it anymore. I have a house full of stuff i don't even know exist because i never see or use it. I have cluttered closets and spaces and to be honest it gives me extreme anxiety. I'm not nearly where you are but you are such an inspiration and I'll strive to raise my future children as you do yours in more ways than just being minimal. You won't be able to comprehend how much your videos mean to me. So thank you!

I'm a young married mama, 23 with 2 children- and watching your videos reminds me to continue in our daily work with them faithfully in the Lord. Whether that's cleaning, laundry, homeschooling, playing with them--- it's so important and I need to give it my full attention. Even if nobody else is watching, I work for the Lord. Praying I continue in staying focused and remembering this on the hard days.

I'm literally always decluttering. Like, every time I do laundry I'm parting with things! I also go through the kids toys like once a week or so to weed out a couple of toys that don't get use. It makes it so much more manageable to be constant with the most used areas. Now...the storage room is a level 10 WRECK! Not really that dramatic but there's so much unknown junk in there. I plan to go through it when we get back from our vacation at the end of the month and prepare for our neighborhood garage sale! I told my husband that whatever doesn't go at the sale is not coming back into the house! Straight to donate for sure!
