As a very old Xeno-head, everything shown here was references EVERYWHERE. The biggest part is the song, though. It really sounds like they got Joanne Hogg back. For those of us who have followed Monolith from Square to Namco to Nintendo, this is huge. Joanne Hogg sang the ending themes for both Xenogears and Xenosaga Episode 1. It’s only fitting that she would sing the final song for the Xenoblade Trilogy.

It would have to, maybe 1000 years ago or more since Z appears to be working with Noah and Rex in this DLC. The reason I believe it's 1000 years ago is because that's when off-seeing was first introduced by Crys, but at the same time, Moebius was prominent.

Well, in a weird timey wimey kind of way, it's both before and after. It's well before the Noah and Mio we know as Ouroboros from the main game, that's true. At the same time, Matthew is directly descended from the Noah and Mio who become Consuls/Moebius N and M.

Matthew is the founder of House Vandham. The cat girl Nael is his sister(?). It seems like they are N's and M's children. A is Consul A, presumably. We never saw them in the main game, and they were never alluded to. Nikol looks like Shulk's son, and Glimmer looks to be Rex + Pyra's daughter. I'm also dying to know why Rex and Shulk are standing alongside Z against Alvis, and what's going on with the red core crystals. Alvis got it. It belonged to Ontos, and then we see A with the same earring, and then Nael in some sort of super mode where she looks Aegis-ified. WHAT IS GOING ON????

I think, Matthew is the son of Moebius Noah and Moebius Mio. The baby that you see with Noah and Mio. and I think Niel the person that looked like Mio is somehow connected to Alvis. Because, here: 5:07 Niel have Alvis Core Crystal which is red. Because, here: 4:25 you see Alvis RED Core Crystal, Pneuma/Mythra/Pyra's GREEN Core Crystal and Malos PURPLE Core Crystal. Glimmer, might be connected to Pneuma. Because they kinda look the same. And Nikol might be Shulk's child and A could maybe be related to Alvis like his sister or something. I might be wrong about all of this or most of them. This is just what I think is behind those characters. P.s If you think something else or want to correct me, please let me know?

And the thing of it is, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to enjoy any of this new XC3 stuff cuz around the end of last year, our former landlord came in while we were out to fix a hole in our ceiling caused by a leak from some storms we had earlier in the year, and while he was there, he stole my Switch Lite and my games! When I told him that if he didn't return my stuff I would press charges on him for theft, he turns around and hands us an eviction notice saying that he wants his property (the apartment) back - it wasn't a rent issue cuz we were paid up on rent at that point. I planned on bringing it up when we went to the eviction court hearing to get the landlord in trouble, however, the day of the court date, our ride never showed up, and we got to court an hour late, and when I tried to bring it up to the judge, he wouldn't even hear me out. So the landlord got away with theft of my property (Switch Lite/games) AND got us removed from his property.... Then, on the upside, I just found out that my mom is going to be getting me a new Switch Lite and the digital versions of the main XC games (DE, 2, and 3, plus the DLCs for 2 and 3) for my birthday.... and now I find out that THIS is coming out 4 DAYS BEFORE MY BIRTHDAY. I think this is one of the best birthday gifts I've ever gotten.....
