I’m a big sardine fan. I’m trying all different types of sardines. So far Portugal is winning

Just picked up tonights dinner from the market already filleted and ready to cook, now to look through your book and see what we fancy. Was that what a fisherman would call a calm sea, they make it look easy, but I bet it's tougher than it looks. Love Cornwall, Respect to our fishing communities. Thank You Bart.

They do make it look easy! A lot of hard work for just a small fish in a small can, we have to appreciate the effort that goes into it.. thanks for watching Gary

I always love your fishy adventure videos. I would really like to cook with fresh sardines one day (grilled fresh sardines sounds good) but for now I have to stick to the canned variety.

What then happens with the catch? There’s no cannery there in Cornwall, right? Are they just sold fresh or frozen? Or do the fish get shipped to canneries in France or somewhere?
