Agreed. Roche's path is full of treason, to start you need to betray Iorveth to be on, then you have Dethmold, Henselt and worst SILE. And what is your reward for help Henselt? Some wine with a king who could hang you when he gets upset?

I just finished Roche's path of this game and I must say that I agree when people say Iorveth's path is much better. It was nice to see more of the Blue Stripes at least in Flotsam as well as I liked the arena at the Kaedweni camp, but the whole plot surrounding Saskia and Philippa is more interesting.

I desperately want a game or even just an explanation, where we get to at least see what happened after the events of Loc Muinne. The best character in the game series. Geralt is great but I have come to be much more interested in Iorveth as a character. I'm still furious that they just dumped his presence in the third game, it would have been so good to play those deleted quests :(

I'd guess he went into hiding after realising that the third nilfgaard war was about to begin and he'd be a criminal in every country on the continent, like Isengrim did. Hopefully we'll get some closure in the Netflix series or maybe even a book.

@@arch_6133 Yeah I read the comic we got with Hearts of Stone and it mentioned he left Vergen with the rest of the scoia'tael and he was supposed to be in lots of quests involving finding the plague cure alongside Roche and Geralt. But since that wasn't released the best explanation is that he went into hiding as you say. Though who knows where Isengrim is now as Djikstra resurfaced in Novigrad (and he was supposed to be with Isengrim when they went into hiding in the books). Makes me wonder if Isengrim is also hiding somewhere in the seedy underworld of Novigrad too.

There was definitely a plan to include these characters at least early on. Look at the Velen map and you will see a "Dragonslayer's Grotto" that looks a bit like Roche's camp inside. In TW3 it is populated by wraiths, but probably was originally for Iorveth and his band.

@@aidanwow1593 The Dragonslayer you refer to is the School of the Griffin Witcher who killed a dragon and was buried there. You find some of the first Griffin diagrams inside.
