Yeah, to that note the host here seems to think his verdict on the subject is important: _"I always thought it's a myth, and I think I still do..."_ - like, why do we need to know what you think? Why must you _have_ a verdict at all? If you're impartial, there's no need or room for belief. Why do so many people need a stance on something; just say you don't know or you're skeptical, when asked. Every viewer here is watching because they're doing their own research. Do the same.

This woman has a pretty good approach. Before my birth in the 1950s (in Appalachia), my dad tracked "someone" with impossibly large feet (in winter) that had been on our back porch 1 night. This party unscrewed a HOT light-bulb that had been lit for hours. Mom saw the huge, un-gloved hand that did look like a normal hand. She never described it further, being part Cherokee there were things we weren't allowed to give a name. Dad was in WW2, a sharpshooter, a hunter & farmer...so by our traditions, he armed-up and pushed it "back where it belonged" that very night. Several times deep in the woods over the next decades, we've encountered something that made bobcats, foxes, everything run away. I've heard it, but never seen it...but it's been VERY close numerous times. My Indian granny, called it the Old Man. That was over a decade before we heard the word Bigfoot. We were taught not to run away from it, but not to look for trouble either...it's like a centuries old truce.

You apparently dont understand that a 10 ft. Tall Sasquatch could be 10 feet away, and if he doesnt want to be seen, you will not, under any circumstances see it. Now appreciate the new evidence of cloaking, and predator like agility. Sounds strange, but open your eyes, shut your mouth, and use your brain.

Wild Speculation: Sasquatch and their ilk have two layers of hair. The hair of the outer coat is long and shaggy. But the inner coat is made of black, stiff bristles. Normally the undercoat is hidden under the overcoat. The bristles lay against the skin. When alarmed, these bristles stand up, making the Sasquatch turn brown to black.

Also had it run off from us once at night as we walked up a hill. Few years before that my twin bro and I Heard LLOOUUDD foot steps running off like taking sledgehammer to dirt and FAST. Came across long footprints in sand bed by creek years back longer than finger tip to elbow. Bible also mentions something about Cain having to walk the earth forever which got me thinking it might be him and the reason so rarely seen. Got a question, Nikia! Do you miss Skamania and the old house? watching this makes me think back to the time you were still living there, like you were when you did this interview.
@RatandCat4 жыл бұрын
Yes, I do miss Skamania. The raw beauty in that place is incredible and cool people there too. It's been hard for me to shift my channel into less folksy content, like stories about our property and OchéNah, to only search & recovery, but I think it's the right thing to do. Not only would I often lose subscribers with the folksy content, but I also I think the search and recovery stories are more likely to help people, perhaps even save some lives. In a world where there is so much self-centeredness and greed, it feels good to be doing something that is hopefully giving back and helping people. Yes. I love Skamania. and I miss it, but up here is spectacular wilderness that I haven't even started to feature or explore. Plus I love having a place on a river where I can swim with my kids nearly every day while bald eagles and cormorants are hunting right beside us. I'm still working on getting our house livable, a huge task, so I don't have as much time for field searches right now. When that's done, I hope to be able to do more in the field again. I am building local connections to start local searches, but it's slow going with everything that's going on, including COVID. Still, moving forward.
@EphemeralProductions4 жыл бұрын
Rat and Cat : gotcha. Well, if it counts for anything, i will say, i loved the folksy content and will always welcome it if you decide to put some up. :). I also do like seeing how your cabin house is doing. :)

I never thought these beings existed until I started to watch the channel HOW TO HUNT, which is hosted by a very experienced and competent big-game guide in BC. He shares stories sent to him by those who have had encounters. There are thousands of accounts, world-wide, that are eerily similar, and most people who see one are afraid to even speak of it for fear of ridicule. For some reason, the authorities don't want this information made public. I'm a wilderness paddler, and I spend up to a month at a time on solo wilderness paddling trips, so I'm a prime candidate for one of these encounters, which never go well for the observer in terms of the after-effect, which includes PTSD, fear of the wilds, and a complete abandonment of outdoor pursuits. As I go forward I'm going to attempt to interview some First Nation elders (Ojibwe in the region where I like to paddle) who I think will have the best perspective on this issue. Check out The Facts By Howtohunt.com and your perspective will shift.
@RatandCat3 жыл бұрын
In talking with local law enforcement, I've never even gotten a hint of authorities trying to suppress info. I do not have PTSD from my experiences. I do wish you well on your channel. I'm sure you'll get plenty of views.

I have been privately following whatever I can find about Sasquatch because all the theories I have heard thus far have holes in them, they often don't take into account the "paranormal" aspect of Sasquatch, I have heard many times from multiple sources that Sasquatch can become invisible, can telepathically effect cameras both old and new digital, read minds and on and on, I have never heard anyone say what this lady said until right now, oddly enough I have come to the conclusion myself of the very same thing! Everything in our world has been created by our thoughts, beliefs(bible), everything we hear on tv or from others. We have a collective consciousness above our planetary system that holds all the energies from us. If you believe in something you will create that literally. People are starting to wake up to this. If you believe in the Christian doctrine or the any religious texts that is what you will manifest. The planet was created by God's thoughts. This is not meant to insult any person or religion. This is only my beliefs and many others. We're going through an ascension or upliftment right now. There will be things happening that will boggle any person's mind. It's time for humanity to wake up. All of these creatures exist because some have been created by our thoughts, some by our ancestors. This is called a construct of the mind. I have seen Bigfoot three times, Because I have believed and knew of their existence is the key to all of this. Some people's minds operate at a different level out of synch with the majority. I call these critical thinkers. Many of these people who are critical thinkers watch these kinds of videos. Their minds always want more. They thirst for truth. When every truth lies inside of each of us. I do believe in Christ Jesus because he did exist and the things he did were for us to awaken to who we really are. Many of His teachings were either lost, rewritten or taken out of the bible all together.

Illumination, sorry for not answering your question directly. Thought you were being sarcastic. Oche'Nah misspoke. Like others have said here, Gimlin (not Gilman) is a Bigfoot researcher.
