Yes! I have been a believer that the quantum encoder will be added into the game at some point. Before update 4 came out I predicted that the hadron collider was going to be added into update 4. I ended up being right. I really think that the new machine is the quantum encoder. It has so many similarities of the original one data mined.

Total eclipse I think I may have an idea on that the hexagonal machine is. I think they are hiding it because it is a story related machine that uses story related items. I think the machine is taking in the somersloops to make something. I say this because the machine is producing red light when the plates open up. The only thing I can think of that can be a reason for that is the somersloops. They are red and glowing and have a special ability we are not aware of. Could this machine be taking the power from the somersloops?

I can`t help but think that the pink fluid is cobalt chloride. Hydrated cobalt chloride is actually pink and it could either be produced from SAM ore which probably turns out to be some sort of cobalt rich mineral or (as on Earth) from Copper Ore. (This could also explain the more sulfur given to us as the process uses sulfurci acid). My only issue is, what would we use it for? Cobbalt chloride as far as I know doesn`t have industrial applications, cobalt metal however is used in superalloys, batteries and magnetic applications. And if you are wondering about the chlorine, I always thought the poison gas to be some organochlorine compound so this could be a source.
@XhaleonАй бұрын
Thinking about what Snutt has said about QOL being added that you can't live without after experiencing it, I wonder if one of those could be a priority pipe junction. It's weird that the new building outputs a fluid from two solid inputs that are manufactured items (as opposed to raw ores and such). It could be just like the aluminum recipes we have right now which output a fluid product that can be reused, and so do a few leaps of logic and arrive at the hope that a purpose-made priority pipe junction now exists.

Regarding the potential new "pink" gas, my guess is that it is helium for several reasons. First, it is naturally a byproduct of natural gas/oil production, ranging from 1-3% of natural gas depending on the reservoir. Second, helium is a byproduct of nuclear fission (alpha particles are 2 protons and 2 neutrons, so a helium nucleus - just add electrons!). So the nuclear reactors may have an additional output of helium gas that, as you speculated, may have cryogenic functions for other recipes. (Side note: I'm a NMR service engineer IRL and deal with both liquid and gas He used as refrigerants as part of my job.) As for SAM ore, He could definitely be a byproduct of processing it, but it would take a refinery to process raw ore into bars AND gas. Just my scientific $0.02 on the matter. It'll be fun to see what is revealed in Sept!
@dr.dman348Ай бұрын
Theory: I've seen some comments on other videos theorizing about toilets being used to teleport between Hubs. However, there's only really 1 hub in the game. So, since hard drives are found in crashed hub spaceships, youll be able to dismantle the spaceships (after the harddrive has been collected) and you'll get hub parts from it, letting you construct an additional one at another location.

Just a thought for a new speculation video. The Nodes that get removed leave a gap. What if the reason they are removed is to make space for a story related event/object/npc? In specific the outcrop of the NorthWest Northern Forest where the Quartznodes are removed

That doesn't make any sense from a physics point of view. If it wasn't transferred through simple copper pipes, based on its colour I'd say it's hydrogen plasma, but in reality that would probably melt them. The fact that they made nuclear pasta its own component for confinement tells me they wouldn't make plasma go through pipes...
