Lord Jesus Christ, in Heaven above. You gave Your life, that we might live, and in our living, be drawn to that true Paradise, in communion with You, our glorious Savior. Accept our thanks that in Your Divine charity, You sent Chris Farley to give us some taste of the joy of that paradise, through his acts of comedy. *Jesus, Farley was so good.* In recognition therefore, we ask that You accept Him into Your presence, as we pray You will accept our gratitude for Your many blessings. For we know it is only by Your mercy, and not by the merit of any mortal, that Your grace is bestowed upon all. We ask these things in Your name, who lives and reigns with God the Father, in the Unity of the Holy Spirit, one God forever, and ever. Amen

@That 70s Guy What are you talking about? He was a lifelong Catholic
@MarcillaSmith4 жыл бұрын
@That 70s Guy This is hilarity truly worthy of Mr. Farley. We're gonna get into a theological debate over this??? Ok, whatevs... In the NABRE translation, John 3:3 begins "Jesus answered and said to [Nicodemus, a Pharisee], 'Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born... " " _... anōthen_ ," it ends, in the original Greek. Depending on the English translation, _anōthen_ is translated either as "again" (as you put), or as "from above." Neither is wrong, although both suffer from not conveying the original author's double entendre. Nicodemus takes our Lord to mean "again," and in an absurdly literal way. Consequently, Jesus clarifies in verse 5, "no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit." This is usually taken to indicate the Rite of Baptism (in the Trinitarian form). Are you suggesting that our Lord meant something other than Baptism, or are you suggesting that Mr. Farley somehow remained unbaptized at the age of 33?
@MarcillaSmith4 жыл бұрын
@That 70s Guy “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit upon his glorious throne... Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, a stranger and you gave me no welcome, naked and you gave me no clothing, ill and in prison, and you did not care for me.’... ‘Amen, I say to you, what you did not do for one of these least ones, you did not do for me.’ And these will go off to eternal punishment, but the righteous [who provided to the least brother's of mine] to eternal life.” -- Matthew 25:31, 41-43, 45b-46 (NABRE)

Oh yeah, this is pretty much what Andy has been doing all these years. They guy has never had a job. Dad was a prosecutor and DA. Look up Andy’s qualifications, it’s a joke.

Who would've guessed that Rudy ended up more unhinged and emotionally damaged than Farley's caricature of his son?

Brilliant save on the botched soda spill. He just pulls the lid and says, "i've got it!" He poured twice to no avail. Also, shout out to Fred Wolf.

His yells and yelps immediately after being struck are the funniest part

LOL--That is what some kids do--at a Thrashers game one time a kid was acting just like this--he looked normal maybe had ADHD but was being annoying and he got hit by a puck rt on top of his head--it was a floater--luckily--he still felt it but he cried just like this--he even looked around for a second--I actually laughed when it happened.

Farley was the best. With all the due respect to John , Bill, Eddie and Gilda, which I saw live. Farley's performance was at another level and you can hear the audience reacting and laughing the hardest.

I love how you live in a crap state where more people are born than aborted, men think they’re women and women think they’re men, crime is skyrocketing, prices are rising more than other states because of poor policy and religious insistence on voting democrat to the end. But hey let’s talk about the Guiliani family and the GLORY DAYS of nyc when EVERYONE wanted to go there, the days of old when NYC was the capitol of World. You are a lost human being and possibly the only reason I’d ever consider making abortion legal
