@NoirHammer// Really? Never knew it existed, very fascinating. Perhaps it's still used but under a different name in some ice creams or other potato starch products. Starch is a polysaccharide comprising glucose monomers joined in α 1,4 linkages. The simplest form of starch is the linear polymer amylose; amylopectin is the branched form.

I find the Temu sponsorship quite strange from a channel like yours. I'd recommend looking into their business practices, which are more than questionable. There is allegations of slave labor, dangerous chemicals in products and unwarranted withdrawals from peoples bank accounts. I'd caution against the app and against sponsorships like this. Temu facilitates hyper consumption, which doesnt fit well with topics such as sustainability, health or ethics. Despite this, I did like the recipe, might try it soon!
@Hartsikasvo Жыл бұрын
A TEMU sponsor? Really? I expected more of you.
@Mirandacloud Жыл бұрын
I know these are not the comments you want to see, but man am I disappointed in these sponsorships. There is so much info out there about why Temu is so unsustainable and pushing so much consumerism for cheap unnecessary items. I know you showed kitchen gadgets, but that site sells junk. Then there is the whole ethics behind the labour and working conditions, though that is a bigger problem than just Temu. Shelbizleee has a really great video about all of the different aspects about Temu that are awful. I have also been seeing Better Help ads, there was one in your Bean Sauce video. I know you said you've been using it for years, but there is so much info out there for this company too on why they are so shady and continue to be. Mickey Atkins, who is a therapist, has a great video on this as well, she had to take two of her other videos down because Betterhelp went after her. I imagine the KZbin game is hard and you are relying on sponsorships, I just hope you can really look into the good and the BAD of these companies before you work with them.

@@artnoir3940I already posted a comment explaining why they suck, but I'll copy and paste here "brooo you can NOT be promoting TEMU. I imagine as a vegan you're interested in committing less harm to the planet? This is a scam company that utilizes slave and forced labor to make products at ridiculously discounted prices. It's also in hot water for scamming customers by not fulfilling orders and also not refunding money. Spatulas aren't meant to be $1. Think if you went to an actual spatula guy and had him make you a spatula. How much of his time would he need to use for it to cost so little? Artificially low prices at the expense of forced labor. Not cool. Not a criticism more of a "I hope you think about this because I imagine we're on similar wavelengths ethically." Great video as usual."

I recently learned water and fat can be fully mixed without any emulsifiers just by degassing water (a blender with a vacuum seal makes in easy). I wonder what milk substitutes you could dream up just by blending some liquid, fat and whatever else you could think of.

I haven't loved a lot of your sponsorship choices, but Temu is just too low not to say something. It's hard to imagine you're unaware of their reputation.
