Does take your breath away doesn't it!! He spotted the throne in Layne's shared storage unit when they were filming Good 4 U & Layne got permission to use it. His vocals have always been out of this world but I think the videos just get better & better.

The original is only 2 minutes long. Geoff composed the section that has instruments and vocalizations only (with no lyrics) for this number. So creative and talented!

I recently watched a short compilation of scenes where this song is played or sung and kinda got the impression that it's followed by betrayals and deaths, hence the changing of the kings on this throne. Never saw GoT, so I have no idea if I'm right or wrong here.

@@nightthornkvala94132 You got it in a nutshell. The 4 Lancaster men are treacherous and out for themselves (as is the sister). Lots of blood and betrayal in Game of Thrones, although, I would recommend reading the books Game of Fire and Ice series by George R.R. Martin. The books end earlier than the TV because Martin was working on the series and let the books fall by the wayside.

As an avid watcher of tv and movie reactions - YES, you can do that. Many people do that. But it is kind of a process to avoid copyright, similar to reacting to copyrighted music videos but just in longer format. So filters, reversing the video, sometimes bluring the video behind your face or not showing the video for short portions, obviously cutting for time, etc. I'd recommend looking up some reactions to some of your favorite movies or shows and seeing how its done before deciding you'd want to try it. There's some awesome Marvel reactions on youtube, if you're a fan I'd maybe start there as an example! But I'd definitely love to watch it if you'd do it!

Beautiful song! Exceptional talent. If you're interested in starting show or movie reactions, I might suggest looking up a couple Marvel movie reactions or a TV show you're already familiar with to avoid spoilers and see how they are able to provide reactions and maybe get some ideas?. I'm sure it's highly copyrighted for all that. But it's also very entertaining :)

Yay, you found it! I would have thought that Omar would have signed it since he lives in Orlando area, but I guess since he's not a member, he didn't sign. I have only watched 1 episode. Not my jam. Wonderful reaction, always so enjoyable watching your expressions! I did watch GOT but didn't remember this song. On re-listening, mostly spoken not sung, I thought it pretty underwhelming! Geoffs version though, is deliciously more dark and menacing and the costumes (Geoff in leather as Jaime Lannister...omg), expressions and actions of the different characters from the show are perfect. Love it! 🛡⚔🔥

Full disclosure- I haven't seen GoT, but I did read the series. From what I recall from the books, the song is mentioned several times, but only performed at the Red Wedding. My brother made me watch the Red Wedding episode of the tv series (just for context so we could watch the internet explode the next day), but even so I don't really recall the song being prominent. I expect they only got a few bars in before all the action broke loose, and then no one was paying any attention to the music.

I haven't seen any Game of Thrones episodes either but that doesn't stop me from loving this from Geoff! I have seen other reactors react to movies and such. They don't show what they're watching for the most part. They just show a very short clip and then we see them reacting to it.

Ive I've only seen a couple seasons myself. Which didn't include this song. But this is my favorite by Geoff. On loop in my playlist so I can listen to it when I'm laying down resting or relaxing to go to sleep with my headphones on high. Mine are like yours... El cheapos from amazon. I too am eventually going to get a good set. Not as expensive and good as skullcandy but great bass. With these i can only hear his low notes when I'm laying down with the bass side smashed between my ear and pillow. Yeah. $7don't get you much. Enough to drown out the noisy neighbors upstairs and allow my daughter to sleep and not hear Voiceplay and Geoff all the time.

I haven't seen GoT either. I was thinking about it and my fiance said it was more political than I would enjoy. Not a lot of character development. I'm still thinking about it. One of the reactors I saw said this song started very true to the show and then in true Geoff style he embellished it. Loved your reaction!! ❤️❤️ One of the things I've seen with reactions to shows/movies is if the movie is 2 hours the reaction is 45-60 min of best reaction during it. I have heard that for full reaction you can post it on patreon but since I'm too poor for patreon don't quote me.

Honestly, nothing anyone has ever told me about Game of Thrones, makes me want to watch it. In my very limited experience, the people who react to TV shows and movies, usually do a lot of editing, by which I mean, a lot of cutting. They'll get a 90 minute feature film down to a 25-minute reaction video, and 5 minutes of that is the intro and outro. I normally won't watch movie or TV show reactions (I'm not that much of a Hollywood buff and just mostly don't care), but I've made a couple of exceptions in special cases where there's particular cultural significance (e.g., I watched a Russian Millennial, clearly too young to remember the cold War, reacting to Hunt for Red October).
