Saul is the most complex character here after watching 5 seasons of BCS. He's always there to lend a hand, no matter the costs, yet he's continuously under appreciated.

Saul Goodman's original narrative purpose in Breaking Bad was to be a deus ex machina, always giving Walt and Jesse what they needed. What's interesting is that in Better Call Saul, the deus ex machina is the veterinarian, and Jimmy/Saul is just in the process of learning what the deus ex machina would need to know.

If everyone in Breaking Bad would’ve just listened to Jimmy, things would’ve been so much better off. Call him whatever you want, but he knew what he was doing and he kept things under control and bypassed the law best he could.

Idk why but I love the duo of Saul and Skyler a lot more than Saul and Walt. I wish they would’ve had more scenes together.

Upon rewatching a number of clips from BrBa, I'm of the opinion that the some of the best Saul Goodman moments are when he's talking to Skyler. They have way better chemistry running the money laundering scam than Walt

I like the touch that Ted is SO stupid that he actually leases the car (a known money waster) instead of buying it outright.

And to think that the character of Saul Goodman was originally planned for a limited story arc, and we'd never see him again. He made the show.

The final season of Breaking Bad is when things really go into suspense overdrive, and Saul Goodman is very much a part of all this. It really was a great idea for Vince Gilligan to create and produce a show based on Saul Goodman as the main character. The final six episodes of his series will be just as fun to watch as Breaking Bad’s conclusion.

After Better Call Saul, every scene with Saul in Breaking Bad feels like a treat. It's bittersweet, since we see just how far Jimmy's fallen, but after 6 seasons of BCS, it's sorta nice rewatching BB and seeing characters like Skylar regularly interacting with the guy. It's almost weird because Breaking Bad is a decade old, and I've seen all of these scenes before, but it's like these scenes are injected with new weight after years of seeing Jimmy try to do the right thing, only to double on breaking the rules

Saul had been coming to that car wash for years before Walt & Skyler bought it. I expect the car wash to make an appearance when Jimmy acquires his Cadillac. Walt may appear as well, as he started working there in 2004.
