Saul is the most complex character here after watching 5 seasons of BCS. He's always there to lend a hand, no matter the costs, yet he's continuously under appreciated.

Saul Goodman's original narrative purpose in Breaking Bad was to be a deus ex machina, always giving Walt and Jesse what they needed. What's interesting is that in Better Call Saul, the deus ex machina is the veterinarian, and Jimmy/Saul is just in the process of learning what the deus ex machina would need to know.

Aside of how "moraly open" he is, people usually understimate just how good of a lawyer he is, quick, and smart. I mean, he really earns that 15%.

I probably better call Saul is that it's gone on too long. I really feel like they should have told a simpler shorter narrative of a lawyer who is never appreciated going straight and decided to become a criminal lawyer so that he could make a lot of money underhanded. I guess I'm saying I don't think we needed his character to be as complex as they're trying to make him in better call

When Better Call Saul ends, this show is going to become immensely more difficult to watch. Before, Walter was the Center of the universe to us, everything revolves around him, but now we see how he was dropped into a world of people with their own goals and hopes, and how he tears everything down. On top of watching Saul be himself, as opposed to the lovable Jimmy we know, this whole universe has become so sad. Vince Gilligan, Peter Gould and Tom Schnauz have truly done something with these 2 shows that will be remembered forever.

Watching Saul scenes from BB after watching BCS is always so interesting because you can see the Jimmy in Saul’s speech and mannerisms, but he’s also clearly putting on a mask. Saul is a more professional Slippin Jimmy, and just like when he’s in character as Slippin Jimmy, Saul hides Jimmy’s empathy and moral compass when he knows he has to reach an end that requires unethical means. Odenkirk is a masterful actor.

after finishing BCS it is amazing how they managed to basically split him into 2 people, Jimmy and Saul the ultimate mask to hide behind. This has consistently been some of the most brilliant writing and acting since its start (BB) i am grateful to have heard this story and im sad for anyone dumb enough to not watch. so sad its all over.. but i hope it STAYS over. Leave them wanting more, besides what other story could possibly be told at this point?

The final season of Breaking Bad is when things really go into suspense overdrive, and Saul Goodman is very much a part of all this. It really was a great idea for Vince Gilligan to create and produce a show based on Saul Goodman as the main character. The final six episodes of his series will be just as fun to watch as Breaking Bad’s conclusion.

After Better Call Saul, every scene with Saul in Breaking Bad feels like a treat. It's bittersweet, since we see just how far Jimmy's fallen, but after 6 seasons of BCS, it's sorta nice rewatching BB and seeing characters like Skylar regularly interacting with the guy. It's almost weird because Breaking Bad is a decade old, and I've seen all of these scenes before, but it's like these scenes are injected with new weight after years of seeing Jimmy try to do the right thing, only to double on breaking the rules
