Dee Duncker many "reviews" are just made to comfort buyers that they made a good choice, or to further reinforce people who already decided to buy the car that its a good choice. to me svagaegeese reviews aren't exactly fair reviews too, they actually lean more towards a "cons of this car" video lmao. and before anyone starts attacking me, my friends, my family and my ancestors, this is my personal opinion and last i checked, it's completely legal to have your own opinion. however, if you want, feel free to engage in a calm and constructive argument with me about why my opinion might be wrong.

Best Z4 review out there. Period. Led me to confidently purchase my '22 White on White without ever test driving one. If its good enough for Mark, its good enough for me. You nailed all aspects--plenty roomy (6'3") refined as you want it to be, but a crap-ton of fun that you can eat up the curves with and usable as either a daily driver or a weekend toy. What I feel driving this car mirrors exactly what this review noted: this car just nails the balance between chill and fun all too well. It's nice to you when you wanna just cruise and chill, but it knows how to reward you once you start pushing it. Also, may I add that the grip is genuinely mind boggling? No wonder it did a lap of the Nurburgring faster than the original M2.

I recently bought a 2020 BMW Z4 M40i here in the Philippines. Roads are meh, not many places to access all that firepower. I also rarely drive anymore. In the heavy traffic of Manila, I have a driver who takes me around the city for work so I can be productive with emails, code and calls. Your reviews are the best yet. You swing both pragmatism and pure driving. These days, for me, I cannot access the limits of my vehicles. A gear head from a kid in Detroit, Ive owned a Mustang, Viper SRT, F-type, R8 and Maserati GTS, I find the practicality, cruising experience and quality of the M40i....just....um...right. For me. Actually, too much, as it is as you said here in the video. Well done, Ive left R&T and CD because simply, they have no global “touch”. Understandable that the readers are mostly American. Your approach, intentional or not appeals to a more global audience. There is a car for every person. Every preference. Your reviews help. A lot. Thank you.

What you’re saying around 16:20 is so critical, and I believe it’s so incredibly overlooked by the majority of journalists today; sometimes you absolutely need to take a step back, look at the overall package, and understand that with the right balance of power, the right balance of weight and weight distribution, and the right balance of manners, the cars become a lot more manageable and a lot more logical to drive. Oftentimes the ludicrous horsepower numbers and outrageous displacements become the defining image of a vehicle, but tell me - is it always fun to be fighting 700 unwieldy horses around a corner, swinging your tail the second you feather the pedal and only ever utilizing the first few thousand RPMs of your engine? I think not. That has its time, but daily driving or even calmer weekend driving need the kind of lower powered, sane composure that a vehicle like this has. I quite like this new Z4. As if I didn’t like the previous Z4 iterations or Z3 iterations enough, I think this is yet another wonderful addition to the history of the nameplate. Excellent review!

Bravo! I'm one of those who is not a race-trained driver, but I enjoy my time on back roads (even in the city I never met a turn I didn't like). I'm therefore more interested in cars that I can approach their limits in and have a great experience within my driving abilities. I've read of other similar cars that come in a 6 and in a 4 (cylinder). It seems the 4-cylinder versions are said to be more balanced than the 6 cylinder variant. No doubt the weight differential over the front tires plays a part here. While the 6 will bring the power to the experience, that power is often best expressed on proper tracks while being less usable on the streets (and back roads without sawing on the wheel). I think in terms of having usable power in my daily driving where 7-8-9/10ths can be accessed within the limits as you've spoken of here. It's a great review and a great service you've done in putting this variant in it's proper perspective. You've banished those 4-cylinder nay-say-ers car mavens (who poo-pooed the car) with proven timed results. That's what we all needed to know. The car is a winner on many of those lacquered levels you spoke of. Thank you.

Fantastic review!! I own a 2004 Z4 3.0, manual. The balance of performance and comfort to me is perfect. My father-in-law has a Porsche 718 and I quite frankly find it too hard-edged...it's very impressive performance-wise, but too harsh. Even the 2004 era Z4 is incredibly quiet when the roof is up and there's virtually no buffeting in the cabin when the roof is down. Acceleration is more than adequate (and enough for me to get myself into trouble if I really press). Once you ditch those horrible run-flat tires, it's an ideal roadster. Nice to hear someone else on the same page on this wonderful machine...dm me if you'd like to review my car. in the spring...I live in Wisconsin... need to edit...I had an aftermarket exhaust cut-out installed that offers 4 different levels of exhaust noise. @@laserjet6941 I find the Stinger to be less cartoonish than the Z4...

“A sports car with luxury added on, not a luxury car with sport added in”. -Great way to describe it. That sounds like an Aston Martin Vantage/DB11 or Jaguar F-Type. Both punch way above a Z4 but the basic principle is the same.

So should I be sad that I bought a 30th Anniversary MX-5 instead of this?

Great review!! Looking for your opinion. How would you compare, say the 2014 Z4 handling to this car? Thanks just jim

Nice to the point Review Geese love the infotainment explanation of the many screens and depth for the underneath too.

Your reviews are excellent. You always have an interesting and honest approach. Love how you praise that car so many others are mocking. Savage goose is my favourite animal

@@flowersnake1017 "Excusegeese",...um,...that's cute. It's his opinion, and I guess I didn't interpret any of what he was saying as excuse making. I think his content is top notch.

@@billyhughes9776 in the end, what did you learn really about the car? I'm noticing in every car he reviews he basically says..."it's good for some and not for others" Not really a review.

@@flowersnake1017 Well then, you seem to have this car review thing all figured out. I mean like, how to do a "real" review. I look forward to seeing you're reviews on KZbin, or, maybe you already have a channel? Let me know, I'd love to check it out. Cheers.
