@@iSport2ka8 boo fucking hoo poor SG needs to shove 6 mins of ads into his vids otherwise he can't afford driving his X7 to his shoots, gimme a fucking break. The ad being 6 mins is an insult. EDIT: To the sheep feeling the need to comment "just skip bro" - this point is addressed several times in this thread; please read the replies by @Natural11001001, @KalenvS, and myself. The point is not that you can skip it - the point is that a six-minute endorsement shouldn't have been there in the first place; it's overkill, disrespectful for the average viewer expecting 18 mins of content and getting only 12, and discredits the content creator who genuinely feels they need to suck off a brand for 6 minutes straight. It's also going against the interests of the growing minority of KZbin Premium users (like myself) who actively PAY creators via Premium subscriptions - yes, my views actively pay SG, and I pay to not watch ads while doing so; and yes, I can understand a 30 seconds, even 1 minute paid endorsement of a product, but I do not appreciate having a third of a video be taken up by basically an ad. I hope that clarifies it to all you "just skip" crowd; if you're happy buying a cake and having a third of it be a turd and you're willing to "just skip it", then more power to you. And never fool yourselves you're getting these vids for free, even if you are using free KZbin - you're paying for them with your very time and views and data, all of which is making these creators shit tons of money already. I have a little story for Mark. He likes to harp on the advantages of a manual emergency break. I have a 2023 Chevy trailblazer with 17,000 miles. I’ve been driving from one town to another at times approaching 70 miles an hour without any problem. I have loved the car up to this point. Then three blocks from where my destinations wise my digital display started going crazy. Flashing emitted in different colors different gauges going on and off at different times. It was wonky. And three seconds later, I noticed my power steering was gone. so it’s time to stop and pull over right I hit the brakes all the way to the floorboard and nothing no brakes. What’s my next step? Hit the emergency brake except it’s electronic and that’s not working. By a miracle I didn’t crash into anybody. And I didn’t get hurt. The car just coast it to a stop. If this it happened when I was going 60 miles an hour, and then coming up to her intersection I couldn’t stop then I probably would’ve been killed not to mention other people involved in the accident. I will never buy another car again that doesn’t have a manual by wire emergency brake. That flat out could’ve saved my life if things have gone very extreme, which they could’ve. They’re bringing somebody down from GM to evaluate the situation as of course they are very interested in what’s going on. by the way, Savage geese is the best by far car review program on the Internet. 4:23 LOL, Dell doing Thinkpad inputs better than Lenovo these days. (Displeased Thinkpad Z16 user here. Can't do browser nav gestures properly because it only does right-plus-left click tediously and left-plus-right not at all. And having to look for where the middle click zone is is annoying, too. - But frustratingly, electronics purchases are so often a game of compromise.)

If had you asked me 10 years ago, I couldn't have predicted that malaise era 2 would have so much horsepower. Back then I wouldn't have believed you could extract so little excitement from this much power, but then I drove one of these. You need to just save up more for the P car if you insist on a SUV, or succumb to electric. They can add the same fake engine noise to the latter if that is the part that bothers you.

There are plenty of consumers who are both status and image conscious and this type of coupe style SUV speaks to them. Basically people who have soccer mom routines but want to look cooler and more hip than the boxy SUV Tahoe/RAV4/X5/GLE driving moms, dads and kids whom they can’t stand next to them.

This is the raison d'etre for these: To look a wee bit cooler/richer than the next person in the school pickup line.

.....so anyway, good choice on the Herman Miller. I went the same route when I started working from home, and it's incredible how much better you feel during the day when you aren't hurting from horrible cheap chairs. Will throw Steelcase out there as an option for those doing a home office setup, too. The BMW? I thought these things were closer to $80-90k starting...$150k? WTF?

The existence of this car is all you need to prove that SUV is a lifestyle option now. You spend more, get less cargo space, and you don't even get a fricking rear wiper ffs. Even a 911 comes with an option to put rear wipers on but not this thing? Like why?
