I had to come here to thank you! I just passed my exam today. Every week i would take a practice mock and watch your videos right before. Right before the exam i watched your group replay in my car. I took your final mock and the shorter one to help prep.... I have and will recommmend you to all my collegues. This exam was HARD..

Good afternoon! I wanted to tell you thank you for putting up all of your material to help social workers to pass their respective exams. Today I took my clinical exam and I am so grateful to have found you. I have been watching your videos more so listening to them because they would be on while I was driving. I used your information and how you broke down the questions to my advantage to pass my exam. Keep doing what you do. There are those of us who are truly benefiting from you.

On question 6, you said that ODD turns to conduct disorder and conduct disorder is for older ages but I’m pretty sure that is wrong. ODD there is no aggression or hurting others/animals like conduct disorder. ODD doesn’t turn to conduct disorder. Conduct disorder is also only up to age 18, then turns to antisocial disorder. Can you clarify?

First off I really enjoy these videos and I am super grateful for them because I already feel more confident about taking the exam in the near future! But I have a question about number 8. I see why it's D, makes perfect sense. But say in the moment how do you best respond to the client in a professional way? Because I mean, quoting the NASW to a client would be odd. That doesn't mean much to them as it does to us. So what would a professional say to the client? Then after the session, how does the Professional handle the situation? Because I don't know about you all but that just doesn't sit right with me. Thank you for any response, I appreciate it.

I agree, but my rational was thinking it was abt a therapist. NASW doesn't apply to all therapist. A therapist could be an LPC or something, who operates with an entirely different COE!

Hi beautiful! I love watching your videos. Conduct disorder refers to a group of behavioral and emotional problems characterized by a disregard for others. Children with conduct disorder have a difficult time following rules and behaving in a socially acceptable way. Their behavior can be hostile and sometimes physically violent. In adults it’s antisocial personality disorder.

The second to last question stumped me because it says initial assessment and I thought we were in the assessment stage. Refer seemed like an intervention.

You refer based on the priority issue. Keep in mind that you can refer at any phase of the helping process if the priority issue is beyond your scope of services.

Isn’t Asperger and Autistic Disorder the same now according to the DSM-5?
