im a 15 year old boy from africa just to show how music can touch the lives of people all across the world sawyer changed my life completely....ever since i heard his audition on the voice i was blown away and even to this day i listen to his music on repeat... the talent he has!!!! one day im gonna meet him i wouldnt say im his biggest fan but he has certainly inspired me and inspired also a lot of souls out there.......

Trill Izi I'm the same. I just listen to him on repeat every day. I might not be his biggest fan, that's probably his mom. I don't know, he's touched my whole life with his fearless soncerity. Fortunately, I live near him and have gone to a show and met him. He's so kind and generous, even more in person than I imagined he would be.

That was incredible!! I have watched it several times, just can't get enough of him!! Sawyer is a breath of fresh air and exactly the singer/songwriter the world is looking for! It doesn't matter what he is singing, his voice and music make me feel so happy and relaxed. I have followed Sawyer's journey since his blind audition and it's been the most fun journey watching this humble and delightful 17 year old pursing his musical dream:) I am looking forward to watching Sawyer as this journey continues. Sawyer is amazing! I love it! He is clearly an old soul! This is just incredible talent. I know that the kids want you to sing pop and that's good too but please keep putting these types of songs on your albums too. Do it for the 70's and 80's crowd! We love this type of music! I feel like the recording company has not done their best for Sawyer. He is a great talent but we just don't see enough of him on commercial radio/tv and that's not right. His family are great people as well and it seems that maybe it may be his young age that keeps him from mainstream popularity. One thing for sure I would be unhappy if he changed a single thing about himself.

It is probably much better for him. If you think about it, most of these big record companies that arrange for this "FAME" end up owning the artist. They end up signing contracts that commit their entire lives to touring, cranking out x number of albums. This was Michael Jackson's issue with Sony Music and why Prince changed his name to a symbol to get out of his contracts. There are countless examples of "stars" who ended up with very little money (relatively speaking) in the end. The music "industry" and the lawyers and accountants usually end up with the bulk. My guess is, is that he is staying true to himself and can not be bought.

@@marylannigan2964 You're so right, Mary. Sawyer is much better off molding his career in his own way than to have the music industry turn him into something he's not and rob him blind. Beyond every major artist is usually some fat cat with a cigar out to steal your money and take advantage of you. I hope Sawyer decides to stay true to himself and never sell out for fame and fortune, because it's a perilous, uncertain path and the only winner would be BigMusic.

He's gorgeous, fantastic original voice, so fecking talented, but, I can barely understand a word he sings. I''m from Australia, and I can follow Irish, Scottish, all the different English dialects, although some of the thicker northern ones take some concentration, the American south, Texas, the northern regions, I can even do South Africa. I just wish I could understand what he is singing about.
