I had just finished watching your bar stool video and this one about the book case, which I had not seen before, auto loaded. A very good build. I too like scaffold boards and they are great value for money and often overlooked for some reason. Well done.

Very nice mate. I made my bookshelves with metal pipes to give it bit more industrial look. But scaffolding planks are the main feature. They look fantastic, great job Matt 👍

You learn something new every day! I didn't know the metal brackets on the end of scaffolding boards were there to stop them splitting over time!

Nice job . I like that you didnt paint it . It looks very nice with the colour of the wall and i agree the pipes there look awful , but not anymore . Nice project and you make it very simple !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lovely job Matt, I've made a few similar bookcases myself from similar dimension CLS. One tip though, get yourself a mitre stand for the evolution saw. I worked off the floor for years, but the side arm supports/stops and working at a comfortable height make life so much easier - well worth the £50, even if you only use the saw occasionally. Catch you at the weekend for Makerscentral.

We used scaffold boards for our toilet sink unit. It looks great with a rustic look. The only thing that concerns me after 2 years is the wood has warped quite a lot presumably due to its moisture content.

I do like the rustic look. Scaffold boards can be quite wet as lots of places store them outside

I much prefer the Dewalt. Much more accurate but the evolution is still good for some tasks
