I was just thinking his emotions were along those same lines. I've never seen any scammer so baited and then led by the reins as this guy was. He was so absolutely smitten with Kit's expert money bait that he could barely think or speak, but even when the money wasn't right in front of Joe's face, I feel like he stayed on the line with Kit just because he was entertained. Joe was fascinated by the crazy stories and the "dumb" way Richard's brain worked, and he got his only satisfaction/recompense in berating Richard and seeing him lose the money if Joe himself couldn't take it from him. Who would honestly come back, again and again, failure after failure, for an entire year, for no reward at all? "Joe" was completely love/hate captivated by Kit's performance.

I am so grateful you do this. My in-laws lost their home, savings and everything they had to scammers. It killed my father-in-law back in 2008. My mother-in-law disowned my husband, her only child the weekend he died. I don't understand people this vile. Dad, my father-in-law, served our country. Three tours in Vietnam. I don't understand giving up your son. I lost my only child last year. It was devastating. I had to have all of my bottom teeth pulled the same week, with no means to replace them. This is fine. I don't think I will ever smile the way he made me smile again anyway. You are a very good man. I am so blessed though to still be with my husband of now 25 years. He is an amazing man. He feels so much guilt from not being able to save his parents from such a nightmare. They didn't tell us they "won the lottery " until they lost their home of 20 years. We then tried everything possible to show that they were being scammed. It was too late. I am sorry what brought you to this but I hope you have been able to save much heartache and pain.

I was able to get info on how bad this person really was. Dad still didn't believe us. He really believed that his winnings were in the World Bank, and President Bush directed Homeland security to keep his winnings until he pays off all of the penalties needed to get his money that they were holding hostage. CRAZY... The day before he died, he still sent them money. I loved him dearly. I am sure Agent orange played a huge role in this. My mother-in-law still believed something was going to come her way. Beyond this, we are out of touch.

Next time a scammer has one of those moments where he turns around and feels remorse, I would love to hear you give him a pep talk, try and tell him that he matters and has value. That it is possible to find other work that is fulfilling and doesn't hurt people. That could be a really cool change in his life. I know that I always love hearing you say, "you matter" at the end of your videos. I doubt these guys have anyone to say that to them. Thanks for this insane saga. I love Crow Pro.

Scammers sent someone to my grandpa's house once. Scariest shit ever. Luckily he had a ring doorbell we got notifications from so we saw this strange car waiting outside and we were able to stop it. But they do this, in part because so many people they are scamming can't drive due to their age or health. Terrible people.

@@aqueneable I wonder at how he pulls it off🤔. I think he develops really strong Back Stories for each of his characters. He draws on these with amazing skill. He also is aware of scammers’ ignorant prejudices about affluent and late middle-age Americans. He uses their ignorance against them and of course, their rapacious greed. It’s a brilliant touch to let ‘Joe Biden’ believe that Kit thinks he’s only being sworn at because Joe is a friend and being ‘candid’. I have worked in a factory where the rule was to swear graphically at coworkers you liked and be polite to the ones you didn’t. Being sworn at in extreme terms was a happy experience and you had to swear back in even more extreme terms which I can’t do here!
