Probably the album I listened the most to in my entire life. Back then in 2008 this was nothing short of pure magic. No better feeling than blasting the verse of "The Missing Coordinates" on a car ride with buddies XD Everything is great about this: The album cover still freaks me out, the songs were polished to perfection (in a good sense), and songs like Morphogenesis, Quantumleaper, Ghost prototype I etc. are still unmatched by anything that came in their subsequent career (But don't misunderstand: I DO like everything the guys have put out afterwards).

This album came out just as I arrived in Sweden for the first time of many over the years. I had a great bunch of mates who were so welcoming and accommodating for an Aussie metalhead and this album will always make me think of them all and be thankful for those times :)

Still one of the best albums of the genre (as in, broad melodeath) and arguably the best Scar Symmetry's album. Deus ex Machina is literally hard to believe it exists, one of the most perfect songs I know of, it's absolutely comparable to the best CoB and In Flames compositions if not superior even in some regards.
