spider man's death hit me hard. If you think about it, everybody else was there fully aware that they might die and most of them had lost so much they kinda HAD to fight, but spider man didn't ask to save the world, he was a teenager with a genuinely pure heart who wanted to see a brighter future but got involved in something big and was doing his best to help

@Swigbro
@Swigbro 3 жыл бұрын
@@SaNdRiiS1401 but to be honest, it was good that he was snapped. Think about it. Everyone Peter knew and loved, dead, gone, no more. And yet somehow, he's still there, just to wallow in his depression whilst trying to help. Think about how much this would have destroyed Peter. He could've been the non-symbiote wearing equivalent of the Peter from Spider-Man's Shadow (a world where after losing Aunt May, Peter decided to give in to the symbiote and kill his entire rouges gallery and injure those who threatened him and others to a heavy extent even to the point where he crushed triple J's arm!). So in a sense, dying to the snap was a good thing for him. Because dying as a person, would have killed him in ways far greater than physical death. Edit: Grammar and the final sentence.

Ant man isn’t just a comedic heist film. It’s more about a dad trying his best to be with his daughter. He does go off track, and it leads into the superhero film, but to me it feels grounded in more reality than iron man, Thor or captain America. He’s not a billionaire, or a god, or a super soldier. People look at the MCU and see the flaws, and ONLY see the flaws, which is terrible, because yes, the MCU has flaws, and plot holes, and bad moments or writing, but considering that this is a 20 movie series, written by multiple different people at different times, I think that's pretty damn impressive that it's good at all. of course this universe will have flaws, that's expected, but honestly, after seeing the comics that it's inspired from, I think this is better than what we deserve. the MCU makes me happy, and I don't want people to try convince me otherwise

I just wanna say this unpopular opinion about the MCU: I like Black Widow in Age of Ultron. For those who don't know, in Age of Ultron, Black Widow revealed that when she was made infertile after graduation from the Red Room, and she hated this about herself because she want to find a lover, and build a family of her own, rather than spend her entire life fighting. Contrary to popular belief, this actually makes her a more stronger character, because then, when Ultron comes around, we know how much of a burden she carries, and we know how much she wishes things could be different, then we watch her put her self-hatred aside, and help her team save the world anyway.

Well, we have something left at least... Spider-man? But still I've been watching all the MCU films ever since I was a child, first one I've seen was Iron Man and saw all the movies. I've been thinking about it and realized that these films are mere reflections of our lives. If take the context, a greedy billionaire becomes an altruistic superhero, a young prince who realizes that to become a good King is take responsibility, an aggressive god of thunder turned.. "mellow." These people overcame their struggles. Endgame spoilers Steve finally lives the peaceful life he wanted with Peggy. Tony finally overcomes his grief and defeats the one person who gave him emotional scars. They overcame their struggles and problems.. like we do sometimes. I think heroes aren't just superpowered beings, but regular people who are trying their best to overcome the challenges that weighs them down. And we could become just like that too.

MASSIVE ENDGAME SPOILERS: Iron Man's death in Endgame meant more than just one of my favorite characters dying. It symbolized the end of my childhood. I was twelve when I saw the first Avengers movie. I'm 19, approaching 20 now. That's a little under 1/3 of my life spent loving and caring about the MCU and its characters. The fact that Iron Man now is dead, also means that my childhood has come to a close. First Harry Potter, and now the Avengers. The only thing left for me to say is this: It's been the ride of a lifetime, and I praise my lucky stars that I was born in just the right time to grow up with these movies.

I agree. For me Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the sunset of my childhood while Endgame is almost the sunset of my teenage days. Even though Steve is my favourite Avenger, Natasha and Tony's deaths hit me because it meant that it has come to an end. But yes, now Steve is old and he'll die of an old age. That makes me sad (but also happy because he finally got his happy ending with Peggy). I'm really grateful to be born in 2000.

@@jimllc That doesn't change the fact that his civilization shouldn't have been so tribal to begin with. They're supposed to be the most technologically advanced civilization in the world, they logically should've spilled across all of Africa, if not the world, much like the British did during the time of imperialism. I'm sorry, but Wakanda doesn't make sense. Themyscira this ain't. And shit like their trial by combat, their ancient AF weaponry (the spears and shite are stylish but they make no sense, its why the Russo Brothers retconned that shit in Infinity War), and their architectural designs really make no sense at all, and the fact that only the black panther can have the juice from the flower makes no sense as well. Speaking of which, how TF did T'chala even have the Black Panther powers in Civil War? Its like the writers forgot that movie existed when writing Wakanda, it just feels so divorced from the previous source material while ignoring all sorts of other considerations in terms of how a massively superior civilization would've grown. Its still not as offensive as Captain America's writing quality (frankly, that movie is on par with The Predator from 2018), but its not exactly the best that's come out of Marvel. Its maybe a bit better than Thor 2, and that's only because of the visuals and the chemistry of the actors.

it is one of the reasons why marvel grew to equal standings with DC comics. DC focuses more on beings who are above mortal beings (at least in the movies since the comics actually shows them as people like how superman was born and raised as a human and being a super hero never changed that while the movie makes him turn cold and distant). they make every god like being detached from mortal beings in the movies. it is the main reason that the MCU has only had 2 out of 22 movies be a lesser success when compared to the other movies of the same franchise while DCU has several lesser successes as their peak while poorly representing the characters, going away from source material and basically ignoring what true readers of the comics know and love about the character.

Then at the beginning of Endgame, youve seen something that you never thought it could happen, Rocket and Nebula sitting side by side holding hand and consumed by the lost they both had. From two creatures that born and raised thro the hate and mean, become two creatures that willing to sacrifice for them family. Tell me what's not beautiful from this development. edzhen03 I had the exact same thought and said that to everyone I talked to about Endgame. Fan service can get gratuitous at times but Marvel has earned the love of its fans by respecting the source material, changing it up enough to make it fresh but not to the point that the characters are unrecognizable. DC on the other hand is run by directors that want to subvert expectations, explore their own vision of what the characters could be changed into and thus they are pissing on fans rather than giving fans what they want. Barring multiple major misses by Marvel and a long string of changes by DC, the MCU will always be greater than the DCCU.

Trevor Delepine I don’t think it feels that fresh anymore. Endgame wasn’t the best marvel movie for sure. And when we’re at it. I don’t think they weren’t rly good to begin with. Every movie i watch i almost immediately forget about, because they’re pretty average. Not great, but not bad. I thought Infinity war brought some fresh air with giving a real villain the main role of the movie. But endgame felt like another civil war with way too many heroes. Some of them doing absolutely nothing important. Pure fanservice, but a good movie? Never.
@trevordelepine7708
@trevordelepine7708 4 жыл бұрын
Yato Yaboku to each there own opinion. I loved endgame and so did $2 billon worth of other people. It’s a superhero movie not an art house Hollywood Oscar contender, but the type of fan service they have, the character arcs, the way they lace all the stories together, it’s fun and for those of us who read the comics it’s got an emotional and nostalgic connection. We grew up with these characters on the page and now we are getting to see them on the screen and the treatment they are getting on the screen is respectful to what the fans memories of those characters are. Endgame wasn’t the best marvel movie, but it was incredibly enjoyable for me because of the fan service, because of all the payoffs of things that had been setup years earlier through several other movies, Cap wielding Mjolnir, or saying hail hydra in the elevator, and especially old Cap getting a chance to go back for that dance with Peggy. Whole theaters had huge emotional responses from cheers to tears at many scenes, something you normally only get from the best Hollywood classics. Maybe the genre doesn’t strike the right chords for you, but I loved Endgame, I personally think Infinity War is the best Marvel movie yet made, and I think they have a lot of great stories left to tell.
