Appreciate the work of Dr. Meldrum. He remains very objective. Concern of backlash is the reason I have not shared our 3 sightings in Connecticut (2 were face to face by my Father, 82nd Airborne Paratrooper, & my sister - who years later confirmed to my 2 daughters that she saw a gorilla in the kitchen window at Grandma's when she was growing up) and one time by my friend as one appeared in the campfire light and became so unnerved that he had to be escorted home.

It can be argued that they still can't make a costume like that considering one has never been made. I'm sure there is money to be made by reproducing one. So why hasn't one been made? Sure you could use CGI and practical effects to get close but that would be cheating. Patty is the real deal IMO.

I Must agree with Jody. Until scientist can study a living creature or group of creatures, we will not know anything. There really is no such thing as an expert on this creature. Yet. But Meldrum is the most dedicated scientist that I’ve heard of who overtly collects evidence, both physical & anecdotal, and makes educated guesses based off this evidence & his knowledge of human & ape anatomy & behaviour.

The logic of needing a “body” to prove the existence of something is flawed, because something like electricity or wind, etc. has no body (therefore it can’t be proven). Example, scientists/experts tell us about the composition of stars billions of light years away without a body, yet we believe it…or are they just making it up? Even the judicial courts and judges convict people on circumstantial evidence without a body. Also, if anyone finds little black oblong droppings in the house, I’m sure they know it’s mouse poop even if they don’t see the critter.

I’m about halfway through this video and you guys asked the doctor if there was more evidence and I wanted to present something. There are several different videos that people have made of Bigfoot trackways through a snowy area. One particular track way was on the podcast Sasquatch Chronicles and I saw the photos of the track way. The trackway was followed for several miles and there were no other tracks next to these tracks ruling out a hoax and the average step was about 5 to 6 foot, at times the steps for 10 feet apart. When you see the photos and the film it’s obvious that it was not a hoax and what could take 6 foot and 10 foot steps? Again as I stated before this was not just a 20 foot section of tracks it went on for miles. To me this is irrefutable and the best evidence of Sasquatch

I would like to know if he has thoughts on the different looks of bigfoot. From so many reports, experiences and watching like "drawing bigfoot" and listening to the descriptions there are some like cavemen, some like the Patti footage and some looking more like maybe pigme men. So interesting!! Also has he seen some of the footprints of 4 toed footprints? A lot of stories these are "giants" or more like the cavemen looking bigfoot. So interesting. Sure wish we had all the bones they've found in the old papers in history, which had pictures, etc. And supposedly were sent to historian place which says they no longer have them.......

@@dalton9493 as much time as Todd Standing spends in the woods you would think that he would have legitimate evidence! Todd is probably one of those researchers who pass right by footprints and hair and he doesn't even see it! I met a guy in Mississippi who claimed to be a researcher and he took me to one of his hotspots! I knew after the first hour that this guy was a phony. I saw trees snapped off 6 to 8 feet in the air from the ground and he passed by them and didn't say anything! Then I could see what looked like smeared footprints between 14 to 17 inches long and 5 to 6 inches wide! The guy is standing in front of me the prints are right beside us and he never said a peep about the prints! I also noticed trees bent over pointing in the direction of a fresh spring water source and he didn't see any of this! Now all he talked about were howls and eye shine and other things he experienced from his hunting cabin! It proved to me that people are in the woods all of the time and they never notice evidence of the creatures! They could be watching you all of the time and some people never notice anything because they don't know what they are seeing or what to look for! Some people go looking and there is evidence all around them and because they don't know what to look for they don't see the evidence and they leave the area! Hopefully one day we will get the evidence to get these creatures on the books so they can be protected and we can devote area where they can live in peace! I don't believe that we should kill one just for the evidence! Hopefully we get the evidence in some other fashion!

Great show guys, Dr. Meldrum is great. I have never heard him in an informal way, it’s very cool. Have you guys ever had any weird encounters while out hiking. I had a weird experience in BigBend State Park in Texas. It was winter, we were hiking the Ranchero loop, there are only 2 springs along the 20ish mile hike. We stopped for the day at the first spring around nine miles in. We set up for the night, filtered water, and ate it got cold pretty quick. So, we headed to our tents. It got to 18 degrees that night. I had gotten up to use the restroom in the middle of the night as you do. After I returned to tent, I layed there a while dosed then woke to foot falls outside my tent. The ground was rocky so the steps were loud, I figured my buddy must have had to go to do his business. However, I listened and heard my buddy snoring in his tent. I just layed there and listened, the foot steps continued around our tents and finally faded away. Definitely sounded like bipedal steps and something heavy. There were no other hikers or campers in this area. We had decided to hike this in reverse to avoid others…. It was freaky.

My husband and son went hunting in the Uintas of Utah. They hooked our big, heavy ATV trailer up to the truck to carry a Razor. This trailer could carry 6 four wheelers but since it was just the two of them they just wanted the Razor. After hunting and dinner they put the tent up on the ATV trailer and went to sleep. The trailer was still hitched to the truck. About maybe 4 a.m something grabbed hold of the trailer on one side and lifted it high off the ground. The tent went sliding with them inside it. Then the trailer just dropped back down hard. In the tent there was a lot of confusion and shouting my husband finally found the flash light, unzipped the tent and peered around outside. He saw nothing. They stayed in the tent awake until daylight. I was bummed that they didn't think to look for footprints near by or handprints on the dirty trailer but it didn't cross their minds. They left and went to a different place to hunt that day. On the way home ( with a nice Bull Elk in back) they decided to tell me. I said Bigfoot was strong enough to have done it. They just laughed but could come up with no answer of their own. What do you think?

I am Glad I found your channel. Dr. Jeff Meldrum as Most people know, is a Well-Known name, in the Bigfoot community. I have watched a Lot of Bigfoot videos in the last 3 1/2 years. Probably at least 15,000, and have learned a Lot from videos like this one. The reason I am so interested is because I saw a little one when I was about 12 years old, along with my Mother and Cousin. It used to throw gravel at our house at night, especially when my Dad had gone to the river to run his trotlines. I also heard a Big one Howl, many years later, behind my Sister's house on a creek. We were sitting in her porch swing, when it Howled. It was So Loud, it sounded like it echoed down the Creek. I told her we needed to get in the house. Everything went Dead Silent. The frogs and crickets on a nearby pond, and even the cows got Quiet. They kinda grunted as they munched on grass, but not after that thing howled. Some boys were camping out on that creek, several years before, and they saw something that night and left. There are several more encounters of these things in my area (Northeast Arkansas ), but I will stop my comment here. Sorry it's So Long, but Also, I kinda promised my story to another channel. Anyway, Good Show guys, and I will be watching your Channel now, also. I am Very Familiar with Dr. Meldrum's name, as well as other people, I'm sure. I forgot to add, that what I heard. Sounded much like the Ohio Howl. It started out a Long Drawn out Howl, almost a mournful cry that got high and slowly lower. It lasted about about about 10 seconds, if I remember correctly. Thanks again. Guys.

I have spoken with Professor Meldrum on 'Coast to Coast' radio program and got to tell him of me and my sons encounter, where we watched this creature stand and walk to the edge of a small meadow and from behind a tree peek at us keeping its eye on us. Meldrum agreed that it probably was this creature because "no animal in the wild that is documented will ever hide and peek from behind a tree". For me he is the one and only professional that professes its existence. But I feel he is just the spokes person chosen to keep the waters murky continuing the dogma. His mention of the name Matt Moneymaker proves he is part of the problem because Moneymaker is the worst piece of shit in this field of study. Also Meldrum holds to his idea that this is a undiscovered primate when he knows the truth that proves through DNA evidence that this animal is a Human/primate hybrid. The proof is out there. Read Scott Carpenter's book "Truth Denied-the Sasquatch DNA study". And then think for yourself and always question the narrative. Keep this in mind and ask yourself this question "Has this type of cover up ever been played out before". Has there ever been anything reported to have happened, then deemed a hoax and then turns out to be real? Look at the American history of the last 100yrs and it will blow you mind how many times that played out. Roswell. No it was a weather balloon, they tell us. Now look at todays headlines. Those that lied in the past, right to our faces now say they are real. Open your minds.... PeaceOrElse

Floyd AWait, your comments are spot on. From my personal experiences and the knowledge I've gained living in Oregon's Forests of The Cascade Mountains between Mt Hood and The Columbia River, among clans of Sasquatch/Sabe People, I learned.... those that have/had encounters or interactions that remove all doubts.... know the truth. For everyone else... for those uninitiated, without real experience, it is easy to deny or dispute what they really know... nothing about. Just Imagine.... If the truth & knowledge were openly & honestly revealed, proving publicly the existance of Family Clans of Sabe People living in very remote areas and not so remote areas, of every state in our great nation... Imagine, if it were common knowledge these Sabe People have lived on our nation's soil since before the introduction of Idiginous People or Europeans, the arrival of Columbus or The Vikings, and that they live their lives and raise thier families, according to their own belief systems and cultures, without gainful employment, without paying taxes, or being controlled by global elites, governments or their laws, while living green & sustainably on a level we cant fathom, living completely independant of any intervention by the rest of humanity to insure their continued existence, living without a need for banking, money, purchasing power, credit, or owning any debt, and never having to answer to anyone but the members of their own communities, and living FREE to BE... Imagine, the utter panic of global elites, politicians, world organizations and religious groups whom feel it their duty to control the lives of all peoples populating this planet... Imagine, if populations of the controlled commoners knew there are countless Sabe People inhabiting earth for countless generations outside the controlled matrix, living their lives as Sovereign, Free Beings as Creator intended for all.... FREE to BE. Imagine, how that knowledge could empower humanity to unite & take back their power, and to live their own lives, completely FREE TO BE.... It's no damned wonder, those controlling the matrix and all of humanity... keep the lid on this knowledge, and do everything they can to keep that knowledge hidden away from the 7Billion commoners they keep unimpowered and enslaved. Imagine, the unitial utter anarchy... and then all the endless possibilities... If we too, became FREE to BE.

Jeff Meldrum is a shill for the Ape~Chasers , His scientific paradigm binds his mind to ignore the truth and peoples real life supernatural experiences with these Beings . He continues to pursue and promote the Ape- Gigantopithecus theory it's like he's intentionally leading people astray from the truth . These Beings are not archaic apes -`giganto's. Yes they are flesh and bone but they are something else ,something Jeff may or may not know the truth about but his science won't let him talk about it without proof . They are something not to be sought after, they are not what people want them to be they have contempt for humans , 99% of the encounters have been malevolent through out the ages around the world when they have interacted with humans

Thanks for doing this interview guys. I've got doc's book and love his approach from a SCIENCE viewpoint. And as much as I knew about Dr Meldrum and his approach to the topic of BF, I learned a LOT MORE from your valuable interview here. I've been to Ohio Bigfoot conferences, Smokey Mountain BF conferences, and many smaller more local conferences and presentations and have met and talked to Dr Meldrum several times. I was even at a small,15 person, hot dog roast, get together w him in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Great, personable guy. The way I look at the subject is....I've never seen, or smelled one, (I have heard unexplainable noises however) or found evidence of one, or had a feeling of being watched, BUT BC OF THE EVIDENCE AND SCIENCE APPROACH, MY PROBABILITY METER SAYS "THEY EXIST"! My recently passed 90 yr old chemist/paleontologist father had a booth display at the Ohio Salt Fork BF conference and Dr Meldrum was kind enough to listen to my father without ridiculing him. My father's approach to the evolution theory involving paleontology was also not mainstream and most certainly against what Dr Meldrum studies have informed him, but Dr Meldrum listened politely, asked good questions and seemed to be intrigued...at least of hearing another view NOT in the "accepted" mainstream paradigm. Dr Meldrum, w his study of the BF phenomenon, I'm sure understands this as you asked him and he spoke of the ridicule he gets. Thanks again! Kevin Miller.

Very interesting and very entertaining. I read "Legend Meets Science" years ago - one of my first reads. I want to share if possible a factoid for Dr. Meldrum about human longevity. Around 1752, a British Officer volunteered to be a "treaty hostage"for a treaty between the British and not-trusting Cherokee. He lived with the indigenous Cherokee for almost a year - somewhere roughly in the Smoky Mtns area. His name was Henry Timberlake - a lieutenant as i recall. Around 1800 he decided to write his autobiography to make some money. In his book almost lost in the back are a couple pages of his observations of the indigenous Indians. He said that "there were a noticeable number of Indians around 150 years of age and still quite active." He also sheepishly revealed that the women, even the older women, were impressive. As an example he noted a woman he knew to be 62 and about an inch shorter than him. He reported that she was lifting weight that he estimated at 200 lbs and carrying it. He admited that he (about age 34 and a fit soldier who had walked hundreds of miles to get there) was not capable of doing what that Indian woman could do. So this is one eyewitness account that humans were living much longer than 40 years not to long ago. We're not doing as well as the "primitive" Indians these days - by a lot - by half. I learned of Timberlake from the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) project history. Prior to damning and flooding areas, they had archeologists, etc. using his book to pre-find ancient villages and do excavation to retain and restore artifacts which are in Museums today. TVA concluded that Timberlake was meticulously accurate. I purchased his book hoping that he told of Bigfoot sightings like many old reports including in the Civil War era and in that area. But no Bigfoot sightings.

The two creatures 15 feet away made no noise, they turned there eyes back and forth between Julie and her goats. Then they turned around and walked back to the forest. Julie was amazed at how smoothly, and athletically they walked away. It is most common for Sasquatches if they are around to come into a campsite at night and look around at human belongings and to raid their food. Sometimes they will push down on a tent. In Julie's case I would bet that they wanted a goat to take and eat and that is what turning their attention towards the goats was about. They make an easy living raiding small livestock farms at night.

I'm so glad people are opening up about this subject matter.. I thought Bigfoot wee scarce & only out West.. but, this apparently is NOT the case.. after researching online I discovered they're everywhere vast expanses of marsh, forest & unpopulated areas in every state have them.. Even, northern Wisconsin as I've recently heard them @ night-(the chatter & calls which interpreted means I've been hearing two or, more)-& I've seen the footprint in snow as recently as a month ago after buying vacant land in northern Wisconsin this fall & one day build a cottage there to retire at.. in another 10/yrs or, so. I'm terrified to see one but, certain with what I've discovered online & evidence I've "collected" I feel there is sufficient evidence of their existence. I've told one person & sharing here but, thrilled to do so & knowing now that sites & podcasts exist to discuss the topic. What do I do now(?).. I dunno & wondering if my coming soon visits to my new property up north will lend to an adventure down the road or, a spotting of these things?! The one person I told has been made aware & is supportive & knows to speak up if ever I was to disappear up there or, be the victim of something harmful & to have the right authorities look into it so, if I go missing or, am found dead or, mangled that it ain't dismissed as an accident or, foul play. I'm not stupid.. but, I'm concerned & wondering what may happen cuz, I just think the things I saw & heard were so profound that it only makes sense I'm gonna see one.. probably when I least expect it. I will keep podcasts like this & a few others recently stumbled upon posted if there are any developments??

If squatch were violent we would have discovered them by now, because that kind-of behavior would make them less cautious, and more brazen, ergo they'd be seen more often, and we would have more photographic footage. We don't because they are cryptids, their first response is to retreat. That's most to say it's impossible, pollution and outliers always exist, but for the sake of logic you're not going to get kidnapped by a Bigfoot. Dogman on the other hand . . .

Want to ask Dr. Meldrum, what he thinks about how a species of upright beings with little thermal protection can handle winter. Do they migrate, hibernate, disappear, Is there evidence on snow and if so they can easily be tracked down on snow. The Patterson film looks so real i am a believer. Have always had a problem with how they survive winter.

The Yeti lives in deep snowy lands. They r noted to be seen in winter. The dog like pads on the hands and feet along with thick core body walls might be the answer to winter living. Cave dwelling and protective cover being built might be the reason they survive.

there are a lot of 'tough questions' when it comes to the viability of a near-human still living undetected in the USA in the year 2022. Yours is one of them - what a hard life this would be for something semi-intelligent in the Pacific Northwest or Canada in the winter. Even a cave would be no fun. Unlike the 'snowbird' tourists from Canada, I dont think they migrate down to Arizona in the winter :). You do mention "disappear" so I wonder if you are open to the idea that these are not real 'persistent' creatures? I just read an article on the UFO phenomena, and the writer mentioned 'could they be 3D Holograms with mass?'. To me that makes more sense (for Bigfoot) versus they are a on-going breeding population of real animals.

@@jamesrav There have been sightings of them breeding and with young. Indigenous ppl have recounted that women from tribes have been abused by male creatures. That doesn’t negate the hologram theory. @@CS-pi5oc if they exist, these are hominins, on our family tree. Granted, Inuit/eskimos survive very cold temps, but they do make igloos. I dont think there's been a verified Sasquatch 'abode' , people say the tree structures are their shelter, but it's never been proven (seemingly full of hairs, should be a gold mine). Meldrum would probably politely but vehemently disagree with Sasquatch everywhere (sightings in all states), they just cant be EVERYWHERE and never been discovered. I find the idea that we live in a simulation and these beings are holograms that the 'program' puts in from time to time more sensible, as crazy as it sounds. Just not buying that there's a breeding population in the thousands and never been hit by a car, visited a campground dumpster for food, etc.

Great interview! I'm so glad the doc brought up how the environment tends to consume bones. It's actually a minor miracle for the skeleton of ANY animal or creature of any kind to reach a fossilized state. The odds are astronomically in favor of there being many, hundreds, likely thousands, of prehistoric species that have left no fossilized evidence whatsoever.

Great interview but you should have turned up his audio or lowered your own.

With the specific reference to people and animals you need to be specific on the "Tribe" . I am a Navajo and to say "Native American" is very broad. Specify what Tribe you are getting your information from. It is also considered to be factual when backing Dr.Meldrum from "Native Americans". Then when not about the subject it's a "Fable" yet also comes from a "Native American". To say "Native Americans" believe.... Means to me a "Navajo" a "Fable" in it's own. Again being specific to a "Tribe" makes the point more credible..... Really a good interview! I envy the students on campus who have such opportunities to ask questions.

From ALL the information given on their physical appearance, there seems to be a vast difference especially with the head and face. The hair, color, size, and build seems to be the norm. But the shape of the head or facial features seem to vary greatly!😮 Some describe a pointed gorilla type crown while others look more rounded and human, like a wild man. Then there are those that say the face was ape like, no lips, wide mouth, flared nostrils, heavy brow ridge and seep set eyes. But some have said that the face was almost totally human, wild long hair with a beard look to match and blend in with the body hair. So my question is, would the more human looking one actually be perhaps, more human internally, more hunan like than the ape looking one? Wondering about diet, blood types, even teeth construction, some having the square-ish human teeth and others with pronounced fangs. 🤔🙄 I just wonder.

how come bloodhounds can't sniff them out or snow tracks be followed ?

Dogs recoil when they encounter the sent or a actual Sasquatch. Tracks in the snow sometimes go on for many miles or they just end.

I have to pose a question for all the speakers here. The question of Sasquatch intelligence was mentioned by the George Carlin quote, "where's their stuff?." If they don''t need the stuff, why would they make it? Is there a test, for tactical or strategic genius?

Dr. Meldrum is great because he uses the scientific method for this research. I use the controversy of Sasquatch’s existance to teach my fifth graders critical thinking, research, etc. Dr. Meldrum does a Google Meet, with my class, each year to give them information.

OMG, I wish you had asked him about his personal experiences earlier in the interview so he could have told us more about those stories!! That's way more interesting than the Loch Ness eel story, or some of the other material in the middle of the interview. Having something run a hand across my tent would scare the shit out of me! And why did he leave his gear outside the tent? I'd keep it with me inside the tent to protect it from critters, the elements, & human intruders.
