ABOUT SAJAH
------------
Sajah Popham is the author of Evolutionary Herbalism and the founder of the School of Evolutionary Herbalism, where he trains herbalists in a holistic system of plant medicine that encompasses clinical Western herbalism, medical astrology, Ayurveda, and spagyric alchemy.
His mission is to develop a comprehensive approach that balances the science and spirituality of plant medicine, focusing on using plants to heal and rejuvenate the body, clarify the mind, open the heart, and support the development of the soul. This is only achieved through understanding and working with the chemical, energetic, and spiritual properties of the plants. 500th like. The 17th century was when French Carmelite sisters distributed Carmelite water. The lemon-balm infusion of’miracle water’ was believed to boost the memory and perception, and also reduce melancholy, fever and congestion. ;)

I love lemon balm! She is one of the first plants that called to me to work with. Calms frayed nerves - a cup of lemon balm tea feels like a soothing grounding hug.

I use it in this way too, and often with fennel (seeds). I grow them in my garden in Hampshire in England. They are two herbs you cannot stop once they're established. I'm 75 and have been using herbs for decades. You are so eloquent and make you videos very interesting. Be blessed. Self-heal, another herb which proliferates in my garden, is very effective for herpes too.

This is my herb of the year 2023. A true “gladdener”. It came to me in July as I was recovering from a very high stress period with a wonky brain. Within a week, I felt like all my synapses were synapsing. Now after several weeks, I feel so chill. Stuff that use to really stress me out is not. A real revelation. I just use tincture or tea daily, made from my own home-grown lemon balm.

I'm seeing some comments about the huge size of your lemon balm patch. I have to ask these folks, have you ever actually grown lemon balm? Because this is what it does! You plant a couple of little plants, and in 2 or 3 seasons, you have lemonbalm everywhere. It's a mint, people. It's gonna spread like crazy. I have resorted to cutting it back at it flowers, to prevent it from self seeding. If you don't have room for a patch like he's showing us here, you might want to keep it contained in pots. I absolutely love the stuff, as a gorgeous bushy plant, as a comforting tea, and as a medicinal. But she's a bit of a bully in your flower beds!

If Lemon Balm works best as a tea, would a glycerine be preferred over alcohol tincture to use when a tea isn’t convenient to make? Same with other leafy herbs, like Stinging Nettles?

Speaking aboug hyper. How did you grow such a big patch of Lemon balm, or don't you share that type of information? How many plants to start to get such a big patch? What kind of dirt is yours in? What kind of heat, or sun does it like? Show us how to use a still to get out volatile oil? You sound like a partaker of cannabis. Jupiter planet, our Creator God put in place, to balance gravity, not to worship. It's a created thing, not the Creator... 💙💜✝️
