this is actually mind blowing to watch. i always thought i needed to hand draw everything, but seeing the way you used premade assets really made something in my head click about my creativity! awesome stuff!

Your use of photobashing is out of this world. You used pictures of casinos and integrated them seamlessly into the painting. So this is one way to achieve detail in concept art.

Holy crap. The sheer amount of stuff that's just taken from elsewhere and repainted to look organically part of the city is astonishing...

I really like the way you use "small" elements. For example, billards part, and re-design as building or huge structure.

I need to try this i want to draw citys so bad but they come out plain alot even when i try to make them look detailed and unique. This looks like what i may have needed. It reminds me of an artist i follow and they use photos too occasionally.

I love how I catch up with many many super easy but super cool tips as I watch those videos. Usually I paint light in. You just grab a photo, set it on lighten and erase what you don't need. I mean - wow! That's genius. Never thought that way! And this is just one example of many I could tell you about. You do great work! Thank you so much on putting those videos online! :)

I wonder how people got the image or the idea of what to draw a sci-fi/futuristic art. This is just beyond impressive.

Geezzz.... I would consider my self a professional in photoshop but in a graphic design production sense, not for hand drawn artwork.... stuff in this is pretty eye opening and just things I have never thought to do with my own artwork.

So cool man! I was wondering how you momentarily switch to black and white while still being able to pick colours? Never seen that before and I have no clue how to do it..

Hey man! No worries, Tom Scholes wrote up a much more in-depth description about it than I ever could, check it out: www.artofscholes.com/checkingvalues/ Essentially it's using a quick shortcut that shows the Photoshop window you're using in Greyscale instead of desaturating the image which can show certain values incorrectly. I constantly use it to check my values to make sure things are looking balanced. Hope that helps!
