Scion TC LED Installation - 2008 - 1st Gen (2004+)

Hey everyone, if you dropped the bulb into the housing here’s how you get it out. Simply pry the map light assembly around the edges until it pops off. Its kind of tough but don’t worry you won’t break anything unless your very rough. Also, while you have the housing off I recommend twisting out the other bulbs with the black base so you’ll be able to separate them in your hand. Much easier that way. Once you have them separated twist the black bases back in the housing. There’s arrows indicating what way to twist its self explanatory. Now you can put the led replacements in no problem and pop everything back in place.

Hey I know this is an old comment, but just wanted to say thanks - I am one of the dumbasses that accidentally popped the black led housing out and couldn't find anything about how to actually pop the housing out! Saved me some headache! Much appreciated!

However, please note, the installation process is virtually identical for all vehicles. I actually ended up just figuring it out myself! The only issue was the tag lights, which seemed intimidating at first since you have to take off the whole panel. But i ended up figuring it out anyway. Thanks for replying though!
