Scott Super Trak RC-2s are my fave trail shoe ... EVER! OMGosh! That 360 tread pattern with the wide spaced lugs, gives great traction-action and clears the mud better than anything. Honest! I live in upstate NY in the U.S. We have a ton of mud, wet, slippery clay and gnarly rocks. The Scott's can handle it all. I'm on my 10th pair. I did my Adirondack High Peak summits in them. They had better grip on the rocks (Anorthosite) than any other shoe or even hiking boots. I am still ordering them. I hope they continue this great tread pattern. It is the most ingenious idea and works. I'm glad you called it out and liked it too. ROCK ON!

Never heard of this shoe company, but there are several European trail shoes that we do not get exposed to over here in Canada. I was considering trying the Salming brand but ended up with Salomon again as I just don't know too much about these other brands, great to see them reviewed here on your channel to give us all some more info. Cool and unique tread design on these. 🇨🇦🇨🇦

Great review Lloyd, have 3 pairs of the supertrac’s that I alternate for training and races, over 900 miles in them. Did the Arc both times in them and out in mountains in Spain. Super comfortable when broken in and really feel secure in the shoe. With your review I think I’ll continue my love affair with them, if it’s not broke don’t fix it !!!

I've really enjoyed running in the Supertrac. To be honest they're not that popular here either Chad 🤔 They're a funny brand, I'm not sure they market themselves that well! Maybe their advertising budget is spent on promoting their bikes? 😊

I'm a Salomon fan and usually run in the Speedcross but I decided I needed a bit of a lighter shoe along with trying out some other brands. So I bought a pair of Supertrac RC2 from Sportshoes for £79 in lovely orange (think that's the colour). Really enjoying it out on the trails at the moment. Works well in the dry and wet. Fit my foot perfectly, like yourself I have narrow feet. So I've put around 100 miles on these and I'm still loving them. Only issue I have is the laces tend to come undone really easily even though I double knot them (maybe it's just me being used to the Salomon quicklace system) . But like yourself I'm pleasantly surprised how good these trail shoes are.

Scott is a 9/10 for durability as far as I'm concerned. They're very tough and well made shoes. Ideal for running on aggressive rocky terrain. I find most of them a bit narrow unfortunately.

Love this shoe! I used it for my technical runs in the alps. My only complain is that it gets hot during summer days. Otherwise perfect shoe

Scott are a bit of multifaceted sports brand, they make ski’s, apparel and interesting to see they now make running shoes. They have always been on the pricey side compared to their competitors.

I do normally put the lug depth in my trail shoe reviews because I realise it's pretty important 😊 I don't know why I forgot to do it in this review. I couldn't actually find any info on the lug depth so I measured it and I think it's 4mm 👍 Hope this helps and thanks for watching the channel 🙏

Good review! Love Scott! Black & Yellow is good looking! I get great compliments all the time!😎! Found box larger than Salomon S-Lab, but smaller than Altra! - so perfect for average feet (not too narrow or broad). Concerned about durability! Please review SuperTrac Ultra too! (use right colour:)). Isn’t price cheaper than Salomon or Hoka top ranges - where this belongs!…Good job👍…🙏

The black and yellow is definitely a better colourway! 👍 I've got a pretty narrow foot shape and it fitted really well and any other brand is going to be narrower than an Altra! 😊 I still think £145 is quite expensive for the shoe even when you compare it to some of the other brands. It is a pretty narrow shoe Chris! Most shoes will give a bit but I'd be careful if it feels to tight because you don't want to stretch a shoe so it'll fit 🤔 Thanks for watching and I hope this helps 👍

Always liked the look of the SuperTrac but like you say, it's just overpriced, especially when you can get the Peregrine for £30 less and they are very similar shoes. Keep the videos coming. 👍

@@Run4Adventure My Ultraventure 2's are so new, it's hard to say. First off, the tie box is smaller than the Ultraventure 1. Having my foot grown in to a size 10 this year at 56 years old makes it hard to assess yet. They feel amazingly light and balanced. The playability is less than Ultraventure 1. I'm still trying to figure out which forms of lacing is best for me on this shoe. Mostly because I just grew in to this new shoe size. The heel cup and mid foot are definitely steadier than Ultraventure 1. I need to get more time with them which hasn't been easy lately cause I've been so busy. Either way, I know I'll enjoy your review on Ultraventure 2's. Thanks for all the videos my Running 🏃 Brother 👍 ⚔️ ✝️ 🇺🇲
