I feel the same way and always have...you don’t need to do 10 different ways to work one muscle group. I had one lady at a gym years ago try to sign me up for personal training and she said she knew over 800 workouts to help optimize my potential.... I was like, but why so many? Keep it simple, effective, regular. Awesome stuff. I just worked out back this morning so I have to wait, but I will be trying this!

Hey Scott isnt that too much volume? I mean what abot intensity? Or do the back muscles respond better to volume training?
@jfimes78545 жыл бұрын
Any volume, just work until failure, last 2/3 reps can be slightly cheated to get in every reps
@SPMJ5 жыл бұрын
That's what I was wondering too. Feels like over-training, honestly. Provided adequate intensity, 3-4 sets for ANY exercise should be good enough.

The back can handle alot of volume
@SPMJ5 жыл бұрын
@@akbarmirza4217 I'm sure a lot of muscles can handle high volume. Doesn't mean you put them through it. A few sets should be able to sufficiently train any body part.
@pandahsykes6025 жыл бұрын
Adzierul Adenan high volume approaches and high intensity approaches should be used on each muscle group to see just how resistant that group is to your workouts (generally and genetically - as not every average thing will work for everyone). I’ve been wondering about increasing sets when I just can’t keep increasing the weight for a strength (high intensity approach) or increasing reps in a set (hitting 20-30 reps for a size pump is the most I like to hit) ; so logically I was thinking of reducing the amounts of exercises and just focus on Increasing sets done for a few pivotal ones instead . Of course I’m going to mix all three together every week on different days though, for max efficacy (one day heighten the reps , the next go for a higher strength pr , and the third day go for crazy hypertrophy with a large amount of sets as stated in this video).

Hey man good vid...was wondering bent over rows a good start or build up to deadlifts?.. noticed you went wide on the pullups... do you ever do the other grips? Or because you hit your rhomboids with seated cable? Also pullups or lat pulls are for with and something like the seated cable build thickness?... I know the bent over rows build alot thickness probably good on the legs abit and the arms....had a question about the crunch machine...my sis had a kinesiology degree and is not a fan of the cruch machine not sure why.. but my question is when you have done sit up and hanging leg raises which I like by the way...I would think the only way to continue to build mass and cha challenge your core this machine has more weight that you can pile on...what you think?..last question bro back and biceps I noticed are popular together on a gym day. I know that I used to mix it up as well, but I started hitting chest and back the same day just because I got a case of sciatica when I was doing just chest on it's own, and it was my sis that suggested when you do a push, to a pull...since then I have not had any cases of that. Open to more information love the gym, it's my drug of of choice( don' t do drugs by the way, even if I did) nothing beats the energy and endorphins you get after a workout.
