“Do the pop tarts work with active pickups?” 😅 The winner has been announced and it's: @claudiojimenez6446 Congrats! Thanks to the 285+ people who entered. Please respond here (or on my post in my community tab) and I'll get those out to you. A reminder that I will never ask you for money, ever. Thanks again everyone! I plan to do one next week as well.

For the Bluetooth Page Turner, most of the more inexpensive pedals will appear to devices as simple, 2-button (or however many footswitches there are on the device) Bluetooth Keyboard - ↑/↓, ←/→, PgUp/PgDown, Enter/Spacebar - and aren't Bluetooth MIDI devices. Bluetooth LE is just a category within the Bluetooth standard, which LE stands for Low Energy. Great video! I've got the JW-03 for using at home, and it works pretty great! The Wireless XLR would be a great option for singers in one of my bands!

I have used the joyo mw1 for gigs and long rehearsals. I have been able to get over 6 hrs of battery life consistently. My only complaint is the bodies are too wide which prevents issues plugged into a mixer with multiple units. I get by this with a 3 ft xlr cable

I find that i have to put my existing Pop Tarts into mic stands on the end of short XLR cables to try and get elevation and better line of sight when using as audio transmitters for PA. I KMOW these Pop Tarts will be better. Look forward to replacing my stale Pop Tarts. Thanks for another really informative video!

Never heard of the Joyo brand and super impressed with the price and quality you showed and walked through. Old band I played in had the “other” model and had multiple issues at shows. Curious how this brand would stand up. I love Pop Tarts almost as much as new gear!

My current older Line6 G10 does 2 things I need in a replacement. 1. Turns off when it doesn't detect signal 2. Delays very slightly with plugged in to a guitar, i.e., eliminates all noise when plugging in a guitar. Do the joyos do these things?

Thanks reiterating to bring backup. The RF environment can change drastically from soundcheck to show showtime and swapping systems might be easier for most folks than scanning for open frequencies on more professional systems. Easier than toasting Pop Tarts.

Thanks for the video Scott. I literally ordered the 5.8 Ghz system yesterday for sending Aux signal to my wedge during solo gigs. Cool to see you using it for that purpose with the E-verse. Also, PSA - Pop Tarts don't need to be toasted to be delicious.

Lots of reviews on Amazon complain an about very low gain. The xlr mic units look great (and you have no issues,Scott) what could be causing it? Keen to have a good experience and avoid the gain problem.

Great review as usual, Scott. I've always thought Joyo gear was a great value. While not meant to rival their high-end counterparts, their bang-for-the-buck is undeniable. I had their Joyo American Sound pedal, which was a clone of Tech 21 at a fraction of the price. Been using Xvive wireless IEM and guitar systems with mixed results. I have some problems with the acoustic guitar which I suspect has to do with the 9V battery being so close to the transmitter. Thinking of trying the Joyo system. Going to grab some Pop Tarts now and hope for the best--thanks!

Had a gig last night and used pop tarts?, wait that's not right.... I used the Lekato system. This is the second time it has happened where the 1/4" cable adapter comes partially unscrewed, so when I went to switch guitars the 1/4" was stuck in the guitar and I was trying to insert the 3.5mm plug into my other guitar /facepalm. Do the JOYO ones have those screw on plugs? Or they are just 1/4"?

That’s how budget friendly stuff can work sometimes… sometimes it’s amazing, and other times it can give you problems. But the xlr has been very reliable for me 🤘

@@ScottUhlMusic yeah... I use two Bose S1 Li-Ion in stereo via bluetooth for my backing tracks off an old phone, a Roland Cube Bass 6xAA for my Yamaha Silent Guitar 1x9v, small Zoom MultiStomp 2xAA and the Joyo wireless for guitar... no cables... all battery! Sets up in 5 minutes... which freaks out club owners and other musicians when they see how well it works!
