I own a 2011 mazda3 with 120k miles the best car i've ever owned. I was going to sell it and upgrade to mazda6 but mazda stops selling the 6, so now i'm just going to keep my 3 for a long time. Back in 2011 my friends were all laughing at me when they saw me buy a mazda, but i knew my mazda would outlast all their cars and yes they've gone thru 3 cars and i'm still on my original mazda.

Yep! I own a Mazda 3 2012 and I am looking to upgrade to a used Mazda 6, like last week. I do love this car and it has done nearly 127 thousand. But I want & need a bigger car, ie an estate, I think U.S call it a station wagon, but will settle for a saloon if need be. My other stipulation is it has to be a Sports GT model, for long distance driving and spec. Diesel 2.2 is preferable to me here in the UK, but will possibly take a 2.5. But did love that Kuro edition Scotty was showing though, but they only come in petrol not Diesel.
@dragonalfaata2 ай бұрын
@@opinionated_one8692Please stay away from that 2.2 diesel. It's very pretentious if it's not taken care of properly. And most don't know how to take care of it. If you're buying used, avoid it. If you're buying new, try not to drive it a lot in the city, a lot of issues with the particles system (dpf), always check your oil as this engine is known for oil level *rising* due to unburnt fuel that gets in the oil pan (don't know what you call it in English) because of failed dpf regenerations.

Mazda truly make the best driver's vehicles. The quality, driving dynamics and looks are unparalleled. However, nothing beats manual. For example, you can down shift at about 800RPM in anticipation of a downhill. But also where automatics and DCTs fall short is: -More frequent transmission oil changes -being undecided about which gear to stay in on the highway elevations and depressions -higher clutch use in DCTs compared to a manual with a driver who knows what they're doing -smoother stopping because the transmission can be fully disengaged and brakes let off smoothly without the transmission re-engaging -more points of failure
